To dislike the vitriol on here about their return

Is it being so cheerful thar keeps you going? I just can't be bothered to expend the energy hating someone I have never met and has done no harm beyond the fevered imaginations of Mail readers and Piers Morgan fans.

Just read through two different threads about their return to this country and I could feel my energy draining the more I read the comments.
There is so much vitriol and lots of snidy remarks in the comments.
Why not just leave them be, let them get on with their lives and wish them well?

We should all aspire to be the best we can be.

I don’t hate the Markles. I just don’t like be taken for a fool and exploited and fobbed off with a pack of lies and propaganda. They clearly have malicious intent. And refuse any accountability. I’m glad Harry lost his court case against the media. Previously, the Markles used the threat of lawsuits against anyone they wanted to shut up & silence.

Probably because King Charles is ill and doesn’t have much time left, and they want their grubby inheritance before William cuts off all their titles.

I don’t see Markle hanging around once the magic money tree drys up.

How are they exploiting you? Have you signed up to a jam subscription and get an answerphone message every time you phone up to try and cancel it?

Anyone who looks at their payslip and sees how much taxes they pay and then wonder where £5m security bill for the Markles is coming from, when the Markles have plenty of cash to pay for security themselves.

just the mere fact of Harry endlessly taking the Government to court to get 24/7 security just so Markle can travel around in a Presidential limousine and pretend she’s important.

Note that Princess Anne who is a working royal doesn’t even get protection, nor the Duke of Edinburgh should make you wonder all these expenses racked up by the Markles, if they want fancy living, they need to pay for it themselves. Only, guess what, they don’t want to pay for it themselves and want some mug to pay for their luxury living.

Unfortunately, the last 6 years have shown the Markels have runaway spending habits and no means of earning their own money. Everyone has sacked them.

This move to the UK is purely because they are going to the bank of mum and dad for handouts and cash, and when Charles weakly says no, the Markles then go stridently to the UK government who seems to cave into their demands.

I’d be happy to see the monarchy phased out and I used to get angry about the money-grabbing racket that is the Duchy of Cornwall. But if most Brits want a monarchy and the tourist money it attracts, then I suppose we just have to put up with it. Harry and Meghan are small fry compared to the Duchy, but the media are experts at directing public anger on to the targets that suit their owners’ political objectives.

Some of the posts on here are just shameful in the amount of hatred and vitriol against someone they have never met, never committed any crimes and never done them any harm. I can see that the years-long unrestrained media hate campaign against them, especially Meghan, has borne fruit. There are several people on here whose brains have evidently just soaked up all the hatred they have been fed, like willing wads of cotton wool.

I have no time for the monarchy, among other reasons because of all the toxicity it gives rise to. If Harry weren't a RF member nobody would question his right to return to his home country with his family. What is amusing is monarchists accusing H&M of being 'grifters' when it is apparent the RF run one of the biggest grifts in existence, in return for the absolute minimum of work. I don't think that makes them bad people (in most cases), just that the nature of the monarchy is to corrupt the people in it.

I suppose H&M think they may as well come to the UK to be hated here instead of hated where they are, it makes litle difference.

Well I think a lot of people are interested in the Invictus games. Celebrating our veterans and athletes in Birmingham. People in this country, whatever their background, really need to unite around being British and enjoying a sense of national pride that is accessible to everybody. We should all be proud to be British and nobody should feel excluded from that. I think H&M can be used to help with that.
