AIBU? Russia threaten UK

Am I being overdramatic about the new breaking news I’ve just seen about Russia threatening UK after use of drones. I’m super scared and have anxiety, can someone somewhat reassure me? Has these headlines happened before??

If its any consolation, think of all the horrible things the people of this Island have done to civilisations all over the world in the past and consider it an honour that we might be the generations that can in some way atone for all that death and destruction with our own.

This is an amazing way of looking at things, very rare and very noble. I wish I could be like that. Regrettably, I am not like that, but I am grateful that at least I see, not always, but very occasionally, that your statement is correct.

I can see why that headline scared you, especially if you already tend to worry about these things. There’s so much dramatic wording in the news that it can make everything sound like something is about to happen. Try to step away from it for a bit if it’s getting to you. Hopefully it’s just more political posturing and nothing more.

My local branch of Aldi is on the same industrial estate as a missile factory.

I might start shopping at Lidl instead.
