To ask about your best and worst One Night Stand?

Had loads. Some were really shit usually because they were in the 90s and both of us were pretty pissed. Had some great ones as well.

Worst: tiny tiny not that it mattered because he came in his boxers.

Most memorable for good reasons: on mushrooms

Life was fun. Life is good now with dh. Constant good sex instead of the roller coster of the randoms in the 90s.

By that definition, there would only be bad one-night stands! Rare exceptions for inescapable 'ships passing' circumstances but, on the whole, a good experience means you do it again.

I always thought you should shag 'em asap, or you'd end up wasting weeks or months getting involved - only to find it doesn't work in bed, and then you've got yourselves a fraught situation.

I’ve had a fair few, and I never had a notably bad one. No regrets - I did enjoy my years of fun!

I’ve had loads over a period of 47 years, and they’ve just kept getting better. None have been bad, too many contenders for best. Older men know what they’re doing 😊.

In my mid-30s I was at a conference I attended regularly and there was this really good-looking man about 40ish three seats down from me. I knew his name and we were friendly and we ended up in the bar having a drink. We were very flirty, and both single.

We headed to bed and it was amazing, really attentive, generous and he said he felt I had opened up his whole body. He hadn’t had anything like it. As we were both single we talked about having a relationship and then he said he was going away travelling for three months because he had just retired. He was actually 65. Very fit and a full head of glorious dark hair.

We did talk about being together, but I couldn’t see how it would work as my career was taking off and he was settling into enjoying his retirement. He would be 85 now if he’s still alive.

Am amazed (if your username means you're from B'ton) that you escaped the drug part of your teens, quite rife then when I grew up.

People have ONS for so many reasons and not all will have any emotional stuff behind them.

ONS with a guy at uni who was a bit of a film buff. Started quoting movie lines and talking about films while we were DTD and came after about 2 mins. Don't think I ever had a ONS after that as was so awful

Same here. I've only ever slept with two men in my life. Ex boyfriend of 14 years, and my now husband. I'm in my late 30s , for context.

I always thought they would be terrible for me though. Not sure I could handle the emotional fall out from it. Still a bit interested to know from others though, that and what's it like to take drugs...another thing I can't imagine.

Best: Same sex 4way. One was my regular fwb. She had friends over as well. They were watching some sport event I'd been out elsewhere then jumped in shower, expecting her friends to be gone soon. They didn't leave. I was ravaged.

I have always thought it means having sex once with a particular person and never again but now I'm wondering if I've misunderstood all these years...I have had six one-night stands (my definition), five with casual acquaintances when I was young and determined to be single but wanted to keep my hand in and a one-afternoon stand when I was much older with a former colleague with whom there had been a long-standing erotic charge. Sadly, beneath the duvet, we created only a damp squib. No hard feelings on either side.

Yuk so small dick and aggressive with it. I had one where it was the size of a little finger.

Worst: he kept asking me to talk dirty to him, not in a sexy way but pretty aggressively demanding, I said “errrrrm: eeeeeeerm, stick it to me” it sounded absurd and I couldn’t stop laughing. He grabbed his clothes and left i a huff. This was at uni and he was called “stick it to me” by my mates for ages after that.

Best: also at uni, I was walking back to my apartment with a bloke I vaguely knew, we stole a dinghy and spent ages getting it upstairs and onto our roof, no bloody idea why, it just seemed like a good idea at the time. We then had sex in it and fell asleep. Woke up and took the dinghy back. We became friends after that but never had sex again.

DH was supposed to be a ONS, that was what we both intended but a week later we met up again and that was that.
