A lighthearted thread, for men and women to join - just a distraction from the news really ❤️

Mine - never had a good one, but planning to once dd goes to school 😉
Worst - classic story - guy 'exploding' and then pulling a 'welp' face and leaving, bless him 😩

I don't really care what the man's intention is from a ONS @QuintadosMalvados

My intention when i have a ONS is to have sex because i want sex. I love having sex. I really really enjoy it. I'm seeking my own pleasure when i have a ONS.

I hope the man i meet that night enjoys it too.

I don't judge others who have them bit I personally agree the idea is gross.

I don't mind the idea of having sex with someone I know and like, casually. But sex with a random stranger?
Alison Bechdel's comics about 1980s lesbians in Minneapolis have a character called Mo who gets teased for being prudish by her partying friend Lois. As Mo says, 'I can't exchange intimate bodily fluids with someone I don't love!' 🤣 I've always thought she had a point..
I get why women (and men) have ONS but I do find it hard to wrap my head around doing something physically intimate with a random.

Edited

I don’t like the idea of casual sex either, but again, I don’t judge others.

I’ve only had one relationship since my divorce nearly 24 years ago, and it wasn’t something I was looking for, but we were together for 6 years before we had sex. That relationship has now ended, and I don’t want another one, not ever.

It’s just my adult DDs and me now, and happy that way. 😊

I feel the same. A bit like Rik Myall in The Young Ones, who can't snog someone because he doesn't know how many O levels (GCSEs) they have. Grin

This re first dates.

I think ONS are fine for women who come quickly from PIV but that's not nost women. Women who like ONS probably don't hope it will lead anywhere but do want to enjoy themselves. Safety issues remain ofc also

Thanks.
I see nothing wrong with sleeping with somebody on the first date, ironically but certain conditions should be met.

Provided they are known to you and have been for a while and others around you and they've expressed a real interest in you.
You'll know if this is the case.

I think you are incorrect about women not wanting more from a ONS.

They seem to expect the same standards of behaviour from a ONS as a relationship - look at the silliness about 'bad manners' here about the guy who wouldn't give oral sex and him leaving abruptly.

I think a guy who was normal and non-abusive would shrug that off if a woman did that.

Or the horror that a ONS was engaged to be married.

I often find that women who are OK with ONS are naive about men.
You wouldn't think it but they are.

There's no concept that this man is using them as something to masturbate into and really for them there's no moral aspect apart from consent.
Frankly, the only reason they're not straight out of there after they've come is because they're hoping for a repeat performance.

Yes a ONS may lead somewhere but that's not the man's intention.

grinandslothit · 17/08/2026 06:12

Worst was a guy I met in a nightclub and he was absolutely gorgeous. gorgeous body everything. beautiful smelled nice but it was the worst sex ever. he just laid there and flopped like a fish it was so bad

There wasn't any best ONS

dedoghairer · 17/08/2026 05:51

Best was a sweet, quite shy man, who had never had a ONS before. Turned out he really knew what he was doing! Should have kept him…
Worst was mediocre sex with a man who talked the talk but definitely couldn’t walk the walk. I went to the loo afterwards, starkers and ran slap bang into his mother! She’d obviously been listening at the door, he was 35 and had not mentioned he lived with his parents!!!!

'one got me pissed and had sex with me when I was out cold, leaving me bruised and confused in the morning'-

This sounds like assault, not a 'bad ONS'...💐

It was kind of weird because I did go to his place with the intention of having sex. I guess yes, it was an assault as I was not able to consent! But the guy said I did want it. I was too drunk to remember anything. Very stupid of me have put myself in that position, to be honest.

smallsilvercloud · 17/08/2026 00:28

Best and worst being the same guy, we had a fun night out and I fancied him so much, the worst as cuddling after he was telling me how much he likes the woman he’s currently dating (not me)

Jane379 · 17/08/2026 00:27

Lentilcakes · 15/08/2026 07:11

Thank God no SM then!
For me def dodgy early 90s shenanigans- Didn’t have that many ONS and most not full sex as I was a good girl!
Best was hooking up w my friend’s friend when he came down to visit for the weekend. Fancied him in sight, he came back - unfortunately I’d come on unexpectedly so we couldn’t do full but I gave him a BJ! Would def have shagged him but a) was in b) no condoms in room.
Worst - bloke pushing head down for BJ / wasn’t gonna do that. Another Borderline coercive sex - these days it could be classed as rape but I don’t like to think that. It was supposed to be a date. I declined to see him again although he did call to ask me out again afterwards.
Met DH at 22 so didn’t have To go through more BS!

'Another Borderline coercive sex - these days it could be classed as rape but I don’t like to think that'- I can understand that. By definition you didn't consent though so it was SA. 💐

I married young and ended up single in my 30s so decided to "have fun" as everyone suggested. Dating, sex, nightclubs. Met a lot of men and had a few ONS. None of them were any good, all crap in bed, most were boring and one got me pissed and had sex with me when I was out cold, leaving me bruised and confused in the morning. No idea if I was unlucky or what.

Don't go on Pistonheads...loads like that on there from what I can see, sadly...and other male forums, I expect.

BebbanburgIsMine · 16/08/2026 03:04

I’ve never had one, I’ll get slaughtered now but I think the very idea of them is disgusting.,

That said, what anyone else gets up to is none of my business, and doesn’t bother me, but I’d be incredibly disappointed if either of my adult DDs ever admitted to having one.

Sleeping together with somebody on the first date is not a ONS.

A first date usually occurs in the context that you know something about this person. Their name, address, your family friends may know them.

You usually tell somebody where you're going, there is an understanding that you both like each other to make an an effort.
Or he does as he's asked you out.

A ONS is not the same in terms of personal safety.
If you're with friends, they might if drunk not remember where you've gone.

There is a very real chance that the guy is using a woman as something to masturbate into.
They don't give a shit where it 'leads'. Lol. The naivety.

How the feck this could be seen as a good thing for women is beyond me.

This re first dates.

Had a bad ons with a guy who was useless like many only focused on his own pleasure and then left skids on my sheets.
Best was a guy I met in a nightclub never got his name but he took me to heaven and back again many times with his tongue. Sex was good but I still had shaking legs from the oral foreplay!

Isn't oral sex 'sex' too? I know you were probably using 'sex' in the sense of 'intecourse', though.

Byeckythump · 16/08/2026 17:25

Mine ended up being both.

Great night out, met a nice looking fun guy who was on his mate’s stag do, we were getting on really well. Walked an hour back to my student halls laughing all the way, had amazing sex, all good. He lived a couple of hours away so probably wasn’t going to turn into a big thing but thought maybe we’d see each other a bit.

Then snuggled up afterwards he suddenly started crying. Turns out it was his fucking stag do! He was getting married the next week and was suddenly filled with guilt. I had such a massive go at him, not just for cheating but for lying blatantly to me too. It turned such a warm fun night instantly cold and the last I saw of him was me throwing socks at him as he left my student digs. What a prick. I was only about 19 but changed my view of men for sure.

Happyjoe · 14/08/2026 23:45

It's rather tame compared to how many men talk about women imo.

That's OK, then.

Francestein · 15/08/2026 03:51

Ooooh - I forgot to mention the man I refer to as the “champignon”

Ha! Another tiny dick! I hope you laughed him out of the bedroom. What do these guys think they are playing at, having small dicks and everything?

QuintadosMalvados · 16/08/2026 17:12

GarlicAnywhere · 16/08/2026 17:04

I can just imagine an abuser going on about reciprocal consideration in order to coerce a partner into something they don't want.

That's not considerate, is it? It's attempted coercive control.

Anyway, I don't want you polluting my good mood, so will be ignoring you and your sidekicks in favour of people sharing their adventures.

Indeed it is coercive control. Correct.
And wanging on to a partner about reciprocal consideration is something that I construe as being part of it.

I'm glad you'll be ignoring me. Enjoy your reading.
I must say, though, The Erotic Review this thread is not.

It's not even Razzle.

Yuk so small dick and aggressive with it. I had one where it was the size of a little finger.

Oh no! Throw that one back! What a fucking loser! How dare he?!

You and QM don't seem to understand consent.

The situation we were talking about is the exact equivalent of a blow job. Person A asks for it, B says sorry, no, proceedings continue without oral. Or they don't continue, but nobody has to force anyone or stomp out rudely.

Mutual respect is the thing - or, for those unable to associate 'respect' with casual sex, reciprocal consideration. Manners, in other words.

I understand consent.

Nobody owes anybody else any part of their body, they can leave whenever they wish at any point during sex.

That includes halfway through if they wish. Indeed at any point.
They can stop whatever sex act they're performing and walk away. At any point. At any point.

And they should be able to do so without anybody complaining to them about manners or other such bullshit.

It is people like you who muddy the waters by going on about reciprocal consideration.

I can just imagine an abuser going on about reciprocal consideration in order to coerce a partner into something they don't want.

Nobody owes anybody else their body for the sake of being 'nice' or manners. Bullocks to that.

If that's not understanding consent, I don't know what the f* is.

GarlicAnywhere · 16/08/2026 16:37

TrishM80 · 16/08/2026 11:34

So by that logic, a woman leaving abruptly because she didn't want to perform a sex act she was uncomfortable with is "very bad manners" also?
