To think Count Binface is doing a great job in the Clacton by-election?

Count down to Bin Day!

Count Binface has been out bigging-up Clacton and drawing attention to its potential.

It’s a really positive campaign.

I don’t think he’ll win but I’d love it if he did. I think he’d be brilliant.

And if he doesn’t, I think other candidates could learn a lot from his approach.

I did like his policy that a resigning MP should not be allowed to stand in the same constituency for the election created by that resignation.

If the general consensus goes one way.... a lot of people refrain from voicing an opinion at all for fear if being harassed for daring to object, hold another opinion.

Am I about to be harassed for standing up and saying what I think.
Strangely most of you hold the same opinion. How odd. Surely I'm not alone.

Would you vote for Farage?

If so, I would like to understand why. I’m
it saying this to bait you - I’m interested.

For example, is it because you don’t trust the alternatives? Or because you think Farage has the guts to push through legislation and initiatives that might be controversial?

At the moment my AIBU is polling 12% that I am being unreasonable so you are not alone.

I live in the area and Farage and his cronies are running scared. They are knocking on doors every day and the amount of leaflets is enough to destroy a rainforest. I suspect he will still win but it's been fun watching Reform panic!

They’ve even got Braverman on the case.

She’s all over our local FB about who’s she’s been in Clayton and the support for Farage is immense.

You can guarantee that if he is reelected, every possible Parlimentary standards committee will be waiting, with massive cross party support. I think he's spent too much time with his 'mate', the Orange Goon in Washington and thus thinks he's similarly untouchable. He's not.

Agree with this.

There was a time I was concerned he was untouchable - always in the media and barely challenged.

Oh how the mighty are falling 😆

@77yearsyoung the point is that Farage isn’t doing anything for Clacton. It’s a low bar in that respect.

But Binface has committed to doing the job - and as an independent he won’t be shackled by party policies. He could be a real tonic, not only for Clacton but for Parliament.

There will be another general election in three years, or sooner, so the voters will have a chance to vote for the main parties again pretty soon. They are quite right to stay clear of this election and to leave Farage to his fate.

This is serious.
Your silly comments make you all look shallow and entitled.

Clacton needs sensible representation and if Labour and Conservative weren't so frightened of failure they would have put up candidates.
The shenanigans going on to discredit Reform are underhand and it's obvious Labour and Conservative are scared that their position on either side of the House which they have held, arguing and barracking each other like children for far to long are in jeopardy.
This country is on its knees, deep in debt without decent defence and a struggling NHS.
Pull your socks up ladies, this isn’t a joke, it's our future.

I haven’t. But the excuse for voting for someone like Farage is usually because they see the other parties not helping them. But he’s done bugger all for them too. May as well vote for Binface because ironically he may actually get something done!

No, she said it was his normal human appearance. I don't know who told her that the person was Binface. It wasn't publicised anywhere and I don't know if the public knows about his real life appearance. My MIL, as with her son and daughter though, is incapable of telling an untruth so I know it has to be true. Unless the whole congregation was lied to.

Who knows how often he might continue to attend if he was to win but it's a good thing to do at this stage, to my.mind

Farage thought there was a point presumably, hence resigning in a flouncy huff. The by-election wouldn’t be happening if he’d just done the job he was elected to do.
