Who is your unusual crush?

Who do you find attractive but they're perhaps not attractive in a conventional way?

I'll start with David Baddiel. Something about him. His facial hair is sexy. He did a series cycling round France with Hugh Dennis (who I also have a crush on) and the pair of them were a joy to watch. Witty and intelligent. He's also fiercely proud of his Jewish heritage.

Agreed. I can sort of see that some people might find him charming and vaguely amusing, but for me that wouldn't be enough to feel attracted to him. Is it the money and power, I wonder? Or that beneath the antiquated exterior, he might be filthy in bed?

As I said, I tend to be attracted to personality first and develop crushes from there. So I've never been big on celebrity crushes, other than Viggo Mortensen (which is a very mainstream one) and Barack Obama (which isn't!). On a purely physical level, Stefanos Tsitsipas would be precisely my type, and I have enjoyed watching him play for that reason. Again, I have to acknowledge that this isn't an unusual crush, as he is good looking, if young. However, I went off him as soon as I found out what an arse he can be, on and off court.

He’s clever and funny. He seems like the sort of man who’d always know what to do. I think he’s got a lovely gentle face. It sealed the deal when he went dancing on his own in Aberdeen. So cool.

No, no, no! Most of these are not at all unusual for crushes, the majority mentioned are good looking guys. My weird crush of many years is Pete Waterman, mad as a March hare but really funny. I always liked Brian Clough too (ages me I know) and Eric Morecambe, I must just go for the sense of humour

Multiple votes for Noel Edmunds (prick), Cheerful Charlie or whatever his name is (Googled him... totally ordinary!) and Haarland... good fun, but surely a face that only a mother could love!!

I liked Darragh Ennis with his longer hair (back when he was a contestant) but now not so much. He has a sexy accent and is conventionally good looking though.

Noone else for Obama? I'll have him all to myself then. Well, I suppose I might have to share with Michelle!
