I've said several times that it's a horrid fashion but it absolutely does not give people like you carte blanche to call them merchandise. They're guilty of wearing something tasteless and inappropriate and many of them are too young to really know any better. You are sexually deriding them and declaring them objects for sale because you don't like it, and that's worse, plus you have no excuse.

I did think adding ‘obese’ to my post could offend but it did make a huge difference - larger exposed surface makes the visual impact greater.

I wore them in the 70s.. made my own cutting up a pair of old jeans. Frayed the edges.. wore with cheese cloth top that tied at under the bust.. it's nothing new.. oh to be 18 again with the lovely figure l had then.. lovely long legs. Pert bum and boob's that stayed up... unfortunately I'm now 68.. as long as no bits on show.. live and let live.

Yes, we know pervs will look at teenagers no matter what, but why give them the satisfaction of looking at their literal bare arses? Also, more importantly, it's a fact that a child/teen that present themselves in a certain way, is a green flag to predators that they are easier to groom. I am NOT saying it's right. Even walking around stark naked isn't "asking for it", but facts are facts. Preds look for signs in minors such as they are neglected in some way, have absent or "cool" relaxed parents, are showing signs of wanting male attention. I'd say that showing arse cheeks while walking from school or around Asda (so not where it makes sense like a beach) unfortunately puts them in the easy target category. Like I already posted, there are also men secretly taking pics and that's going to be on the rise with meta glasses and who knows what else in the future.

In my opinion I wouldn't be telling girls that they deserved to be raped if they weren't wearing a floor-length kaftan and cardigan at all times so as not to inadvertently inflame a poor, helpless man passing by who, naturally, would have no choice but to attack the provocative minx as a result.

They know young men are not going to approach them, not in the way that used to be normal if maybe too pushy sometimes, many young men totally ignore women now, not sure if that is because they don"t know what sex they are themselves or if the girls are too choosy and think they can snag a footballer because they see themselves as "hot" so ordinary young guys don"t bother, or if it is online social dynamics influencers preaching about "indifference" etc. This all feeds into it, going out in a group dressed like a hip hop video that would have been censored a few years ago just screams - "I"m here, look at me, I have a body, pay attention to me...please!" The danger starts when the less confident girls who are just following the pack end up wandering about drunk after a club, then they are in danger from real predators who might be triggered by the clothing, or see it as an invitation.

They absolutely are not, that's something that's come out of your own head and you're blaming and projecting it on them. It's pretty bad taste and unpleasant, but no, there's nothing that suggests to any decent or reasonably intelligent person that they must be actually objects for sale, especially given the age of some of them.
