Normally British summers only last a couple of weeks, so it shouldn't be a massive problem. I'd honestly be more distressed if they were having loud drunken parties, that would be impossible to ignore.

Wow - I couldn’t even put washing out in my pjs and dressing gown as our neighbour always stuck his head over the fence to see what I was doing! I put the fake ivy bush stuff above the fence now so he can’t but it drove me mad!

So I guess I’m of the opinion of people should be able to be left alone in their gardens away from nosey neighbours.

There is a fairly famous forest near me, popular with families and kids. I was cycling on my own there once and came across three naked men. Well they had shoes on and rucksacks. It’s a bit disconcerting to come across naked men when you’re on your own miles from anywhere. It’s put me off going back. I googled when I got home and apparently there’s been a few complaints about them before but the police say they can’t do anything! It’s certainly not an official or even well known (to non naturists) naturist area.

Ignore people saying they're not doing anything wrong. They ARE if it's bothering/offending neighbours.

In England and Wales, it is not an offence to be naked in public, but there are caveats attached as you cannot be nude with the intention of causing "distress or alarm" - as this is an offence under Section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

The Crown Prosecution Service says: "In the case of naturism a balance needs to be struck between the naturist's right to freedom of expression and the right of the wider public to be protected from harassment, alarm and distress."

While you might be on your own property while in your garden, most people living in terraced houses and semi detached (and even detached in some cases,) will know that it's often fairly easy to catch a glimpse of your neighbour's garden, even if you're not intending on snooping.

This means that even though you're not necessarily naked in public, you could still cause "distress or alarm" to your neighbours - although you're only breaking the law if you "intended" to do so.

So yeah, tell them to stop, or put screens up if they are so desperate to be bloody naked.

I used to live next to swingers so I know how you feel but at the end of the day live and let live. I will say tho, they were actually great other than that. Always willing to lend us stuff even if occasionally a bit overfamiliar.

My children have never seen me completely naked and I don't want them to - it's not a pretty sight.
So no - I don't want to see others - most of the ones that do it are not exactly pleasant to see. And no I don't want to be constantly remembering not to look in a certain direction.
