I think the strongest statistical factor determining whether someone would vote Remain was their education level, so it’s not surprising MN would skew that way. And of course it’s less popular among the general population now. I barely see Brexit mentioned at all on here nowadays, certainly not by Reform voters!

God knows re the toilet brush. I bought a roll of washable cloth kitchen roll so use those now.

And of course it’s less popular among the general population now. I barely see Brexit mentioned at all on here nowadays, certainly not by Reform voters!

As someone that is absurdly liberal myself I have actually noticed the opposite. There are a lot of very right wing posters and views on here and it’s been getting worse of late.

I think MN used to lean quite liberal but not anymore.

I think those posters are just very loud and tenacious and tend to silence the more moderate/liberal people by using silly emoji to belittle them tbh (great example on this thread). I mean, whats the point of engaging with a different view when its going to be met with laugh emoji rather than a counter argument? I think if MN is reflective politically of the norms for its user demographic, then the right wing ranters are a vocal minority.

Complaining about your mum or dad, because someone will come along to say you're lucky to have yours & what I'd give for my mum/dad to be here so they can feed my kids shit/go against my rules/talk about me behind my back.

Complaining about anyone who gives free childcare. Apparently this gives the person free reign to do whatever they want in your house and you either have to put up with it or pay for childcare
