What purchases make your life a bit better recently?

i don’t want some paid influencer to tell me, i want real people to!

  • cyberjammies- the best most comfy pj’s I’ve ever had I now have 3 pairs
  • snag tights. I’ll never wear other tights again
  • Laura gelled face powder makeup- specifically bronzer to go which has a poof and a mirror built in

A rice cooker, recommended by a friend who is Chinese.

I thought it would feel like cheating but actually it's amazing. I'll never cook rice any other way ever again (well, except biryani).

I have one too. They are brilliant, they expand to the full length once the water flows through, and contract back to small enough to hang up once the water is expelled. Similar to this. There are many makes and models, but they all fit the same design.

Simple I know, but a new garden hose !
I inherited an old Hoselock system 20 years ago from my in laws.It was already 10 years old then.The winding handle has broken so i cut my hand on it all the time, it leaks and has a bad kink in the middle.
So frustrating.
Went on Amazon and got a new retractable hose.
It's brilliant and even comes with a hook to loop the hose on.
So simple.I love watering the garden now.Should have done it years ago .

Could you give me a link, please? I badly need to replace my hose.

It's my baby, I have been moved to give it a little cuddle on occasion.

Love this! We love our coffee machine too. We have had a sage for 6.5 years and it still causes us so much happiness every single morning.

My tastes throw blanket. I feel the cold very easily abc k. The winter it’s a godsend for watching tv or even wfh.

Yogurt strainer. Amazon. Best bloody thing ever. I now buy the own brand cheap natural yogurt (with cultures obv.) and when strained I have the creamiest Greek style yogurt ever. I add vanilla and other flavours if I feel like it too. Saves a fortune since the Greek yogurts are rather pricey now.

An extended for waistbands - attaches to buttons so great for jeans. I have IBS and sometimes it just makes wearing them bearable.

A new fridge freezer that… never requires defrosting!
I expect every1 else has had 1 forever, I’m usually last to hear about stuff!
but, I’m super pleased that i never have to worry about if it might need defrosting because it could be using too much electricity since it didn’t know what temp it was🤪; great I never have to think about that aspect of damned fridge again!

My suri 2.0 toothbrush. I love it! It's so quiet, the charge lasts ages and my teeth feel super clean.

Has anyone tried any of those gel bras I keep seeing advertised? No underside, but plenty of support (allegedly)

Hi, yes it’s called ZeroMouse and costs about £200. I was a bit worried it wouldn’t work but it does. Once you’ve fitted the device you download the app and you can see all the photos of your cats entering or trying to, marked either “prey detected” or “no prey detected”. Genius.

A second air fryer to take to a self catering holiday. We have found it very useful at home too as the one we usually have is 2 smallish drawers and the second one is one big drawer.

I got a device for my cat flap that locks the flap when it detects my cats have prey in their mouth. Best purchase ever (although not cheap)
