Cheeselets. Ruined.

I need to inform you of a terrible, terrible thing. They’ve ruined cheeselets.

I bought a multipack with much excitement. Previously I’d bought multipacks in b&m or similar whenever I’d seen them. For a while they’ve been missing.

i often buy big bags but only Tesco appear to sell them. I am unsure if current stocks of big packs of old style cheeselets are available. In the home counties if you go and check and buy out the stock I will hunt you down.

New cheeselets are fake Doritos cheese type flavour. They are no longer slightly puffy and flaky. They are now hard and uniform.

if they fuck with treeselets we must riot.

I wish I'd found this thread earlier. I only usually have cheeselets/treeselets at Christmas but noticed them on sale at ocado this week so thought I'd treat myself.

Fuck me they are vile. Wtf were they thinking. Improved flavour in your hole. I am unreasonably angry about this. First you came for my chocolate, now you're after my cheese snacks. Whoever you are fuck the fuck off.

Email Pladis who now make Cheeselets and voice your opinion. If enough people do it they may bring the old Cheeselets back,

I have just emailed Pladis who make the new Cheeselets. They say customer opinion is important to them so please everyone email Pladis with your dissatisfaction on the new Cheeselets.

I get my baked beans from Aldi. Heinz ones are crap these days. Don't mind Branston ones. Either way, I cook them down slightly for a thicker sauce, but even if you just warm them up in the microwave, they're still tastier than the Heinz travesties. I don't understand why anyone still buys them.

I haven’t had baked beans since Heinz made the tomato sauce tasteless and thin. They used to be rich and delicious - now they are not worth the calories. I haven’t dared try any other brands for fear of disappointment.

Has any one had Jacob’s Cornish wafers recently? They used to be flaky and buttery - this latest pack were hard and greasy. The ingredients don’t seem to have changed but they’ve definitely done something to them!

Some snide whizkid has changed a near century old recipe, and added SUGAR ffs! completely negating the cheesy/savoury deliciousness! I'm up for rioting, as an email I urgently sent has been blanked!👊

Certain flavours of Monster Munch are now made with added chickpea flour. I wonder if that’s happened to Quavers too. I mean, I like chickpeas, but not in crisps ffs!

Mini eggs are dead to me now. I really fancied some a few weeks ago and nearly spat it out when hubs dutifully returned from the shop with some. Gone is the dusty crunchy shell, replaced with a waxy horrible coating :(

The M&S version of mini eggs - M&S Chocolate Speckled Eggs - are pretty nice. Especially the orange flavoured ones.

New Twiglets are grim, I loved the proper, old ones. There must be a substantial market for an 'As It Was' food range. I would absolutely pay a bit more to have snacks I actually want to eat. Someone should do this!

I've been munching on these since childhood, the snides have ruined everything, even adding sugar to these frauds,I am absolutely effin clucking for my old chums, bring them back ASAP!
