But I'm happy you got to see the real him from the start. I'm fairly sure that once you would have moved in the mortgage would magically appear along with increased food costs calculations. He'd probably blame it on Col and he's probably done the same to his parents. Twat!

Other bills magically minuscule- the food bills gone from Fortnum and Mason to too good to go cobbled dinners (my favourite !) The rest is still the 50:50 though 🤣

Or maybe we need to start all dates/relationships with a spreadsheet. Rather than writing wedding vows, we could write spreadsheets then compare them to assess compatibility.

Send one back for your design hours.

Add on per hour charges (make them nice and expensively unreasonable) for housekeeping duties, parental care, taxi services, cooking, gardening, shopping and errands.

Excellent. How satisfying that he is so predictable! Tell him you’re sure he can find some other mug to fund his life, who won’t actually end up poorer as a result.

Prized Pickled Popcorn mentioned a podcast which discussed about how some types of men ended up getting their partners to assume a sort of parent role, probably more commonly known on MN as "wife work"

I apologised for side track from OP's thread and asked if she had the link.

I don't know what was said in the recently deleted posts.
But there was nothing in the original post that mentioned the podcast that was anti OP as far as I recall.

Found the podcast by googling anyway. Not sure why this has caused a problem.

I got it deleted as it was asking people to sign in to FB. The one I linked wasn’t the same as yours, SplatterPuff, but I’m sure the message was the same!
