AIBU to think my colleague is lying about having two dogs?

I work with a work colleague on a one to one basis however I think she’s lied to me about having 2 dogs (she does have 1) as well as to various other work colleagues.

Maybe she has one and borrows the other? I walk DS’s dog for many hours a week, I don’t always point out he’s not my dog to people I meet out walking or on here as I can’t be bothered. I love him as my own pet, but he doesn’t live with me most of the time, just visits often and occasionally stays over. My cats are very much mine though.

With no other posts from the OP I can't help but think this was posted as a dig to some of the other pointless threads which boggle the mind as to why anyone would post it... The ones where I wonder what people did without internet because they can't even pick out a top without a poll.

But it's worked. Look how many posts there have been in reply where the poster says nothing more. Proof the pointless threads get the most attention.

OP, promise your colleague a treat if she tells the truth. And if she's lying, get HR to pawtion her and move on.
