I passed a man earlier (maybe 45 to 50), who was wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the words "I'm not a gynecologist [sic], but I'll take a look anyway".

AIBU to think this is arrantly classless, misogynistic in reducing women to mere vulvas and that you'd have you'd have to be a prick to own such a monstrosity, never mind wear it out in public?!

Pretty sure there have been at least two other threads from people who claim to have seen a man wearing this t-shirt.

Okay, cool.
Just to fully out me, it was in Newbury around 14:50 today and I saw the twunt by the old library.

It's grim, not uncommon though (sadly)

I ran into a man that I'd known when we were teenagers, in a club (several years back) & he had on a White drs coat & one of those drs head torches. On his back it said 'Gynaecologist. Let me take a look'. Fast forward another month & I ran into him again through work, turns out he was a nurse.

Not that nurses can't wear these T-Shirts of course, but it just struck me as EXTRA grim!!!

Happyjoe · 14/04/2026 23:51

You just know the only relationship he's ever had was from a mail order catalogue that sells dolls.

Swallowdoubleandrunamile · 15/04/2026 00:03

It's an old Roy Chubby Brown joke.

Pryceosh1987 · 15/04/2026 00:09

Vaginas are vaginas and that is just the way things go. I havent had much experience with them, but yet i have in a way. But if someone likes them good for them.

@BengalBangle
Reckon if he did manage to "get a look"
He'd either faint or retreat!

That’s disgusting. What sort of parent would want their child wearing that?

Edited

It's surprising - and of course horrifying - how many classless parents will use the word 'sexy' as a synonym for 'cute' or 'adorable' when referring to their children.

I've also seen babygros available to buy with such 'delightful' slogans as "Daddy says Mummy only wanted a back rub". Dressing a child in clothes like this is seriously verging on 'check their hard drives' territory.

AntiqueBabyLoanSmurf · 15/04/2026 02:02

There used to be a t-shirt that was advertised in a few places that said something like "When I grow up, I want to be a nurse - so I can help to make people better and see lots of willies".

Again, going on the actual slogan, it suggests that it was intended for very young women/girls to wear. I can see why some people might possibly choose to make 'off' risque jokes like this or the OP one in private; but actually going out in public wearing this on a t-shirt for all to see is downright creepy. Who is actually making them, selling them, buying them and wearing them? Imagine having so little self-awareness.

BauhausOfEliott · 14/04/2026 23:29

This didn’t happen.

Nope. Those tshirts are all over the place. The slogan reads "Daddy's little kitten".

ColdCalmGreen · 15/04/2026 02:25

Saw a guy in his 50’s wearing some utterly repellent slogan t shirt the other day, I was surprised he thought it acceptable, forget what it said now.
But utterly pathetic and disgusting

PollyBell · 15/04/2026 02:30

Well unless you are going to go up and lecture him then he is free to wear it

SmellycatSmelllycat · 15/04/2026 03:21

But that’s an adult top and it doesn’t say “sexy” on it.
I can’t see any with that description online and I’d be surprised if someone let their child wear that without someone intervening.

Mind you - some of the adults ones with slogans are very disturbing and I can’t understand why anyone would wear one.

No sane woman would go anywhere near a creep wearing that. Distaste at its finest. No funny either.

It’s helpful that he’s displaying his mentality publicly as it means that people can give him a very wide berth and not waste any of their time with him.

Exactly this.

It's better than the t-shirt a saw a little girl of about 5 or 6 wearing a few weeks ago

Daddy's sexy kitten 🤢

Where sells that?!?

AlwaysTheRenegade · 15/04/2026 03:54

I saw someone wearing a t-shirt years ago at a rugby club that said something like (don't think it's exact) "I like my women like my pitch, well trimmed and dirty" 😷 barf 😂

707girl · 15/04/2026 04:24

I saw one at the airport the other day: "Vasectomy survivor - I kid you not" Not going to lie, it did make me laugh a little to myself, but also no.

SatsumaDog · 15/04/2026 04:34

Yuck. At least he’s advertising who he is and can be easily avoided.

ForCosyLion · 15/04/2026 05:13

FunMustard · 14/04/2026 18:32

I mean, it's horrible but it's hardly a new thing? These t-shirts have been on sale since slogan t-shirts have been a thing.

YANBU to have opinions about what type of man he is based on it though!

I don't think I've seen one with such a vulgar slogan, though.

ForCosyLion · 15/04/2026 05:14

Total creep. 🤢
