Am I overreacting to DH’s April Fools??

This morning DH took the dog for a walk and he came back covered in “blood” and so was the dog. He came back “hysterical” and told me the dog had been savagely attacked by another dog. I was in panic mode and I ran over to next doors as she is a vet to see what to do. When we both came back from hers to the dog, DH says “April Fools” which I (and she) found extremely irritating. The blood he got from the cupboard Halloween storage. I felt humiliated, embarrassed and didn’t find it funny at all. He thinks I’m being a spoil sport!

AIBU? Am I being a wet lettuce or is this too far?

It wouldn't have been funny if the joke was just on you, let alone wasting the time of your neighbour

What an absolute prick

Yeah that's not funny.

YANBU, I would be furious

That’s really unfunny. If your neighbour was also unamused I’d say you’re not being unreasonable. Jokes are supposed to be funny.
