I’ve met a nice bloke. But he’s one of those people that can’t chill even for 5 mins: he’s always walking to get a coffee, picking the paper. The secondary I am out of something he has his coat and shoes on. It just really unsettles me as mad as that sounds. I am grateful he is wanting to get things in for me. But he’s in and out the house at least 5x a day.

I also came for the cat 😂 my husband is like this OP, not in and out the house necessarily but he cant sit still 😂 he's very productive though, always doing something at home it'll be bike related, house work or DIY so I'm not complaining.

I also wanted to know about the cat!

henlake7 · 31/03/2026 16:53

As long as he isnt expecting you to be on the go all the time then leave him to it (you will never have to worry about running out of anything with him on the case!😄).

I was here for the cat too.

The cat wins every time.

Maybe that is the answer. Get him a cat so he can't keep getting up.

I clicked on this thread just to say whoever is being mean to the cat is BU 😁

Some people are just like that OP, does he let you sit down in peace or does he want you rushing around too?

Whosthetabbynow · 31/03/2026 16:50

Yeh! I thought “ooo wonder why the cat can’t sit down”

lovegoodcoffee · 31/03/2026 16:49
