I get the feeling some people have been watching too many episodes of Rugrats! It was amazing just how many escapades and problems those babies solved and the thought- provoking, full blown conversations they had every episode despite their age.

My daughter doesn't want boys in her Brownies however they think of themselves, and you don't get to give away her single sex activity. Would you like me to tell her that she is being mean and some boys might threaten to hurt themselves so she should just give in and put up with having her rights preferences and boundaries trampled? I wouldn't tell my child the real reason. I'd say it happens on a different night and we can't do it anymore, just as I would with a club I couldn't afford anymore rather than cause a child anxiety around money. There's no reason for this child, regardless of gender, to have to bear the burden of grown up politics.

How exactly have these parents broken the news to the child for a 6 year old to be making the connection that his penis was the “problem?” @strangerthings2475 you’re right too. I am getting a vibe from this story that there could well be more serious issues at play in that child’s life.

Oh yeah, really. This is a fabricated story. A child of six years old who was trying to cut his penis off has serious mental health issues. A six year old cannot reason with, complex logic, long term consequences, abstract concepts, or high emotion scenarios. Their brains are still developing, and are unable to manage frustration.
