Carol Vorderman has culled her lovers from five down to three.

Carol Vorderman has had to slash the number of lovers she has down from five to three, admitting: “Times are hard.”
She now only has a trio of three long-term “special” male friends on the go after previously enjoying the attention of five.
The maths whiz has always been open about loving her friends with benefits.

So...
Is it reasonable for a woman of a certain age to have multiple lovers....not to mention the energy.

Is it unreasonable, immoral, and just plain tacky?

I can't even see it in the article and have never heard about it before so it doesn't seem like she's constantly shouting about it - but good on her, I like her even more now! Why shouldn't she have an unconventional love life if that makes her happy? And why should she keep it secret like it's shameful? You can think she's tacky, I doubt she's bothered.

Well, fair enough. She has a few men she has long standing relationships with that are casual in nature and provide companionship.

I just checked the link in the OP...the article about her cutting off two of her lovers has now gone, it was there...I didn't make it up.😄

Anyway, there are plenty of other articles in which she has spoken about it, dating back to 2023...when she still had five.

Society conditioned women, and every woman over the age of 60 will know that.

Most women with an interest cottoned on to that fact some time back.

Absolutely. I’ve never had an issue with sexual confidence, or energy, and I’m of a certain age as well.😉

But, young or older, I’ve never shagged around - I prefer the emotional closeness of one man, and as I’ve been married twice, and now with a partner, I’m getting enough and always have had 👍. My choice.

Up to her, but whether she’s shagging 100 blokes, or just one, whatever her age, it’s just tacky to be shouting about in the media.

I think the same when men (of any age) do it as well.

I don't know why that link was posted as there is nothing in it remotely related to the OP.

I don't have much of an opion on CV, good or bad, but I don't see why she should be looked down upon for talking about having lovers. We're far too uptight in this country about sex, and a more relaxed approach to conversation about female desire can only help to destigmatise it. Words like "tacky" and "immoral" only reinforce the notion that sex is shameful and distasteful.
