Some of the Iranian protesters deaths were fake

So we heard 30,000 in the news but a lot of people are coming out saying that they were counted in the dead but didn’t die.

Seeing their name and face in the news.

Below are the videos they posted saying they are alive. It’s surreal.

So how many were actually killed, and can we trust any published number?

I don’t think we can trust anyone on this, lies on both sides, maybe of the Iranian regime hadn’t shut down all media they could be seen as being more credible. They obviously don’t want people to know what’s going on and how many people they are murdering.

I am sorry, but I do not see the relevance of this. So the number of killed and wounded might have been mis-reported or deliberately distorted.

That has been true of every military action in history.

A few deaths with dodgy details on social media versus tens of thousands known to have been mudered from reputable sources.

Fair point. It’s getting harder for them though isn’t it as it’s a choice between everything being Israel’s fault versus saying effectively they support the Iranian regime. I think they are finding it a bit of a head scratcher.

I think propaganda in a war is normal and expected from both sides. Of course the public should avoid taking the situation as reported as gospel.

Did you read the title? I said some of the deaths were fake.
So yes I’m still correct.
At least two women have caught themselves in the news being counted as dead.
How many don’t watch the news but have their image and name taken without knowing? You don’t think that’s strange

Did you think exactly 30,000 people were killed? Or do you think, in the absence of people being able to confirm every single person in a volatile situation, it was a rounding of what they thought was a good representation of the scale of what happened? 2 people out of that being wrong doesn't matter.

That doesn’t show the number of deaths was fake, it just show mistaken identity and sloppy journalism for a couple of people.
the second person was first posted by a twitter account with the wrong picture and then by places like RT so just sloppy journalism and shows the negatives on relying like stuff on twitter and shitty “news” places like rt
