My Iranian friend also says it's about money as well. The IGRC and regime have their fingers in every bit of the economy. She didn't even want to fly with the Iranian national carrier as the IGRC get a cut of that too. And power of course.
But innocent civilians are absolutely seen as expendable.
Hence they focused on missiles and bombs but left their own population with no air defences. There aren't even air raid sirens. They only know there is an attack when the bombs fall.

Absolutely tragic. And in that way the Iranian regime IS exactly like Hamas who spent all the millions of funds given to them on arms and building their tunnel network with no shelter for the civilian population of Gaza.

Some are. Some are worried about what comes next, now that their saviour Trump has said " I dunno".

Trump will get bored just like he did in Afganistan. Maybe he'll give control to the neighbouring Taliban again. He's done it before.

What comes next is absolutely guaranteed to be far far better than the decades of slavery they have just endured under the vile beasts who have thankfully been eradicated.

Iranians are over the moon and the OP and others who are desperate for any chance to screech about Trump are behaving monstrously and pathetically.

And that is all I will be saying on the subject, because I'm right, and there's no more to add. Bye :)

The actual Iranians are absolutely dancing with joy that their vicious, murdering oppressive enslavers have been put to death. They love America and are fully behind being freed of their murderous enslavers, the women and girls in particular.

i don’t actually know for sure who did it . No one does . But don’t kid yourself that the US and Israel are innocent. They wouldn’t hesitate to wipe out the lives of Iranian children . If you believe otherwise you are delusional

Well, you say that. But they have no reasons to target Iranian children. And Iranians know that as well.

How isn't it? Hamas and the Iranian regime don't give a toss about their civilians. They are purely fuelled by hatred of Jews and America and will happy let their own people die as a result.

what an unbelievably stupid and naive question, have you seen what they’ve done to Gaza? it’s state terrorism with impunity, they know they can destabilise and destroy the country and terrorise the population and then halfwits will believe it was Iran (classic DARVO by the way).

Surely you can see the difference between Gaza and Iran, unless you are being deliberately thick. Hamas relished civilian deaths as a dead Gazan was actively helping their narrative (which people like you lapped up as it fits the simple narrative of Israel == Evil, not taking a more nuanced view) so they put civilians in harms way as a tactic. Unfortunately this inevitably ended up in civilian deaths as Israel prioritized ending Hamas.

What the hell would Israel or the US gain by bombing a school? The human intelligence available to Israel allowed them to take out significant military and leadership targets because Iranians are actively helping them to oust this terrorist regime - I don't find it plausible that this was struck due to faulty intelligence. But people like you find it logical that they would bomb a school of children on purpose - because there is so much to be gained from that. Or, maybe (and I know this is a stretch), they were killed by a misfired Iranian rocket and it's yet more ammunition to give to people like you to reinforce your notion that Israel and US are monsters who love killing kids and you won;'t question anything since you are so deeply entrenched in your narrative that you can't even consider it wouldn't be them

Actually the evidence I've seen is pointing towards either misfiring of IGRC missile or a tragic error on part of the US.
israel has unequivocally said it had no activity in that area at the time of the hit.

In any case, highly likely the regime has exaggerated deaths. This is what they want. They are stopping people from leaving Tehran - they want civilian deaths as they believe this will bolster support for them and put pressure on the US/Israel. A bit like Hamas. The civilian population are expendable for the greater good (as they see it).

Em no it isn’t

Some PPs are really stretching themselves to prove that the IRGC are cuddly little teddy bears. Let's remember that death is glory to them. They know they will be in paradise with 72 Virgins 🤩

Oh we all know the IRGC is nasty. But that's not the question. The question is the world better off for two hypocrites starting up an vicious, crazy, illegal war that will lead to consequences unknown that may be worse than any of us are imagining right now.

I haven’t actually seen this at all on this thread. It’s actually people going out of their way to defend Israel that is what is happening. Like they can do no wrong .. they have committed all sorts of atrocities of course they are capable of bombing a school. As are Iran for sure but so far the evidence is pointing towards the US and Israel in this instance .

Plus there is no denial from anyone other than conspiracy theorists. Rubio said they had deliberately target a school. He didn't say they didn't bomb a school.

I think the stupidity is on your side.

First of all, israel has denied it was them and had no activity in that area at that time. The US is checking. So if it was a mistake by anyone, it was the US.

Plus Israel is not targeting civilians. If it was, perhaps more than one school would have been targeted? A hospital? Or similar.

On the other hand, Iran IS firing at civilian areas, quite happily and freely and they are also firign cluster munitions to try to maximise civilian deaths.
Is that state terrorsim with impunity to destabilise and destroy the country and terrorise the population?

I don't know who bombed the girl's school. But I am interested in hearing from those who are sure the US/Israel did it, on WHY they think they would target a school.

Not whether it was a mistrike/bad intel/debris/Iran itself, or whatever.

But WHY would the US/Israel deliberately fire on a school full of little girls?

Do you think it was strategic? They are just evil? What would be the point?

According to Netanyahu, Iran has been on the verge of having a nuclear weapon for the last 35 years.
Meanwhile, Israel has slaughtered upwards of 50,000 Palestinians, by completely destroying large are of Gaza, reducing them to rubble. The Iranian regime are brutal and disgusting and have probably slaughtered upwards of 30,000 civilians since January. I find that fact that a vigil is being held today for Ayatollah Khamanei, in Manchester, absolutely disgusting, he was a vile person.
At the end of the day, this was an illegal act of war, carried out on a sovereign country by the US and Israel. It is no different to the UK/US Iraq war 2003, or Putin's war against Ukraine. Given the amount of bombs/missiles dropped on Iran, it would not surprise me in the least if one of them fell on the girl's school.
In the Iran Iraq war back in the eighties, the US provided technical support plus chemical weapons, to use against Iran and the Kurds.

Indeed, you don't develop nuclear weapons overnight. Netanyahu has been warning about this for a long time and he was right, at least on this. Shame no one was as clear eyed on preventing North Korea obtaining nuclear weapons.

It is not illegal. Iran has threatened Israel with destruction. Literally they have a countdown clock in Tehran. Why on earth would Israel allow them to obtain nuclear weapons to carry out their promised threat? Three's actually no conflict with Iran, no shared border, no fight over resources. Iran objects to Israel's very existence, pure and simple.

I don't think any of the parties can be trusted here. The regime are going to kill as many children as they can so they can have their martyrs.

The US/Israel are not going to own up to knowingly striking a building full of children.

And the chances of obtaining any real independant/unbiased information or evidence is buckleys and none. And even if there WAS such evidence. Whichever side was responsible would come up with a reason why it shouldn't be relied on.

I don´t think the U.S. wouldl knowingly target a girls school, no. Bad intel/stray missile yes. But bearing in mind Israelis have killed 18,000 kids in Gaza without turning a hair, they wouldn´t give a damn whether they did or didn´t. Oh, and Israel admitted a couple weeks ago that the death toll in Gaza was, yeah, correct. Go figure.

It's a good thing the US is liberating all the women then, like they did in Afghanistan, Libya and Iraq.
Then they can move on to India, Pakistan, Nepal, Indonesia....
Sparing Saudi Arabia of course...

My point still stands. There are no truly liberated women living under hard line Islamic regimes.

Right. Because Iran never had a clock counting down to the destruction of Israel in the middle of Tehran and wsa on the verge of acquiring a nuclear weapon.

Netanyahu has his faults but he has been clear and consistent on the existential threat Iran poses to Israel.
