You are the one who keeps raising it. I meant everyone was referring to it as terrorism. I stated that in a post after . But technically if you look up incident in the dictionary it is also an incident . Please stop going on about this it’s such a waste of time and energy it’s absolutely pathetic who actually cares ?

First, I thought you weren't replying anymore....

Second, because no one calls 7/10 an incident and it was intentionally done to makeit seem less than it was.

Ireland has never colonised any other country or invaded another country and then treated the citizens like absolute dirt the way a lot of other countries in Europe did. I mean they made it illegal for Irish people to speak their own language and practice their own religion for example when we were colonised And Ireland are not Nazi bedfellows. That is simple untrue .

Actually you keep bringing it up 😅I'd moved on but had to correct your misinformation.

And, no, that Wikipedia list did not refer to 7/10 as an incident. Each massacre and invasion was listed separately as a separate "incident".

Apparently "everyone" was calling it an incident according to some posters whereas in fact no one was and it was intentionally described as such to minimize it.

They did. A list of terrorrist incidents of which 9/11 was listed . And you are like a dog with a bone I am not responding to any more posts on the meaning of the word incident it’s derailing the thread . Grow up

@sabababa i could easily start a rant here about the uk and how they compare to Ireland in relation to treatment of other countries and atrocities…we all know how that would go. But I won’t stoop that low like you have

It’s not a genocide, it’s a war that Hamas started, and lost.

It is a genocide

Nope, no one has. Sorry to disappoint.

But you just said Israel and the US are evil. That's not "the Israeli government". Both the US and Israeli governments are democratically elected. And governments change too, at least they do in democratic countries. I don't like Netanyahu nor Trump, i never have. And in both countries the current governments are certainly problematic and the direction of travel is scary, but evil is really pushing it.

Israel has had governments which have exchanged ladn for peace such as with Egypt and Jordan. Israel tried many times to reach peace deals with the Palestinians and an end to the conflict. And Israel actually has no real conflict with Iran - Iran objects to israel's existence and will do anything to weaken and ultimately destroy Israel (hence the axis of resistance, hence the funding of Hamas, hence 7/10 to prevent normalization with Saudi). Iran is not good for Palestinians either, they want to fight Israel but they want to do it to the last Arab standing.

I mean the governments and leaders just to be clear.

Of course I don’t see the citizens as evil. I mean the government and their decisions. I don’t see any country as having a population that is “evil” but plenty of leaders are

Exactly, lack of consensus. And a lot of the countries "agreeing" have pretty poor human rights records themselves, many actually genocidal but denying it (Turkey, Indonesia and Pakistan to begin with).

Well I’m proud that Ireland is one of the countries that has spoken out against Israel and their disgusting genocide .

Israel have always responded with twice the ferocity. Hamas would've known the outcome of their actions. They didn't care because religious extremists generally don't. Probs just thinking of the 72 virgins they'll get in the afterlife.

Was it you that posted about the virgins earlier ? It’s irrelevant to me what people believe happens in the afterlife. What Hamas believe doesn’t justify starving and torturing innocent citizens and stopping aid being delivered . You can defend that all you want but I am never going to agree with it

TheIceBear · 05/03/2026 06:19

sabababa · 05/03/2026 01:23

Seriously. No one called 7/10 "an incident". Even in the apparent "evidence" from Wikipedia, the many incidents that made up the invasion and massacres of 7/10 are listed individually.

I bet you've been unsuccessfully searching for soem media outlet that somewhere described 7/10 (or 9/11) as an "incident"

Someone already posted one. Gosh would you ever just read a dictionary seriously

TheIceBear · 05/03/2026 06:17

sabababa · 05/03/2026 01:36

Ahhh, so you see Israel is not "disgusting evil". It's a country, like other countries, made up of fallible human beings. Do I support what was done in Gaza? No, I don't. I think there was a lot of revenge motivating the actions even though I also don't know of any miltiary that has managed to fight a para military force embedded within a civlian population and for whom the civilians are expendable without severely imapcting that population. But, yes, preventing food from entering to put pressure on Hamas was totally wrong. And a lot of the actions were disproportionate to the miltiary gains (in my opinion). So you see, i don't just scream that Israel is evil or that Israel is entirely justified and can do no wrong.

And, no, Israel is not "just as bad" as Hamas. Hamas not only has gencodial intent to israelis, it also butchers and oppresses its own people and sees them as entirely expendable for the greater good. Just because more people die on one side than the other doesn't make them better or correct. Imagine if Hamas had actually spent money on, I dunno, building bomb shelters for its population before attacking Israel? Fewer Israelis die, not because of lack of trying from Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran, but because Israel actually invests in protecting its citizens. Iran is firing ballistic misiiles and cluster munitions into civilian areas of Israel - its intent is mass murder, that much is clear.

Of course I don’t see the citizens as evil. I mean the government and their decisions. I don’t see any country as having a population that is “evil” but plenty of leaders are

Not at all. Israel has been the chief aggressor in the ME. They are engaging in multiple wars with other countries in the region. The genocide that they are carrying out in Gaza is only part of it. They get an A* for playing the victim, that's for sure.

Right.....
Iran isn't an aggressor. They just destroyed Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Lebanon. But what's aggressive about that?

Oh yeah and funded Hamas to carry out its mass massacre which is what precipitated the Gazan disaster.

Iran literally has a clock counting down to the destruction of Israel in the middle of Tehran. But that's cute, not aggressive.

No. The Islamic regime is not responsible for the fact that Israel and the US decided to attack Iran. The responsibility for that is 100% with the representatives of these countries.

Hamas, Pakistan, Hezbollah etc ALL use human shields. Their bases are specifically built next to hospitals and schools. It’s a well known strategy. They know leftist, virtue signallers will lap it up. And they do!

Their deaths are a tragedy. But the Islamic regime is 100% culpable. They’re murdering women for not covering their faces ffs! In the thousands!
