The Green Party saying they are not going to comment on individual members. Maybe it's time they did. They have no issue commenting on individual members of other Parties. They need to be rebranded as they bring disrepute to the sustainability and climate action cause and most of their reasonable policies are embedded in mainstream now anyway. Time they stopped hiding behind the 'green' mask and were exposed for the fanatical extremists they actually are. This is only the most recent of a long line of extreme ideologies they preach. If they are going to win seats they needed to be subject to scrutiny of their toxicity. They think they have a moral high ground but actually have the most extreme and diversive policies of any party with elected representatives. Their ideology has always been they are the only ones who are right and no room for any other views or tolerance of other perspectives. They need to be called out and binned to the corner of the cesspit they belong in.

As it happened a fair number of other posters agreed with me that you were bullying the OP
and the fact she was openly stating she would leave her own thread supports that. I was glad to see that she came back as were MNHQ. I have no idea which of your posts was deleted.

Also a fair number of other posters also agree with/thank me for my posts.

Where has MNHQ commented?

I am sorry but I really find your posts to be bullying. I responded to the OP saying that people who she disagreed with were posting in "bad faith" saying that was not fair; she then said she just wanted to support Jewish people (NB I am part Jewish); I then said it might be better to start a thread that is just about support. I didn't ask her to leave. And I offered sympathy about her personal situation. I am reporting your posts because I feel bullied by you because you are misrepresenting what I have said even after I have explained several times.

"... I am sad that this is even still being debated. This has been covered off before in numerous threads which I have seen, with the same players, and yet it all starts again with false accusations on a new thread!"

I haven't taken part in any other threads on this topic and I'm not making any accusations.

I asked you a question as signified by the question mark.

Edited

I wasn't am really sorry, I wasn't talking about you at all in that comment. I don't recognise your username. I was talking about other posters who have been on endless threads where the same issues have come up. I hope that I answered your question, and I also responded in relation to your request for examples of videos.

Why was the post deleted, and what did it say? I usually try to be very polite and so I am surprised, and I have just emailed MN to ask why. To be fair though, I have posted a lot and the vast majority of my posts stand so yes I am polite. And I found the accusation by the other poster about bullying to be pretty grim to be honest. But when I make an error I accept that, and I apologise. We are all human. Have you ever had any posts deleted?

Why would a non antisemitic party hire poeple who openly post things like this?

Indeed.

Seriously, have you got any links to examples of such footage?

If you go into youtube and type in "Iran street walk 2025" you will find a very large number of examples. It is quite an eye opener. I think that they are posted to try to counter what is said in western media or on MN for example.

Ah this old chestnut... you can't tax billionaires because they'll just leave.

A myth perpetrated by ( you guessed it ) Billionaires themselves.

The Duke of Westminster is worth over £10bn. He owns massive chunks of Mayfair and Belgravia.

Tell me how he's going to take that with him if he leaves the country?

If he’s a UK resident, then he will already be paying tax.

I’m pleased you know every left wing person including my Jewish family who definitely don’t support Hamas but equally don’t support Israel, like many Jews…

Look, the Greens have clearly cocked up here and need to rectify it but I’ll say it again, an antisemitic party wouldn’t elect a Jewish leader.

Why would a non antisemitic party hire poeple who openly post things like this?

Sensitive content
To think this is utterly disgusting?!?

" The Israeli army has been killing innocent women and children in Gaza, in preparation for the glorious day when Trump gets to help Israel rebuild it as a new beach resort. It represents the continuation of a war started in 1948 which has led to Israel illegally occupying and annexing much of the territory initially given to Palestine. "

There you go, fixed it for you.

And where is this 'quote' from exactly? The main inaccuracy is that the land to which it refers in the main was Jordan.
Fixed it for you, indeed.

I don't have bias about this. I've said - consistently, I think - that Hamas have committed awful atrocities, including Oct 7th.

Honestly though, listening to some of you on this thread, you'd think the IDF were a bunch of misunderstood tree-hugging hippies going into Gaza with daisy chains and sweeties rather than bombs and rifles...

Wars are highly controversial, yes. But you can be wrong about them too. It's not either/or.

I'm not sure you even know what bias is. It's not about parroting Hamas were awful on 7/10/23 but ...

A lot of bias is unconscious and sometimes it's hard to acknowledge it in ourselves. But there will be very few people who will genuinely be completely unbiased. I acknowledge I am not unbiased because I have decided to support Israel in the war, despite not agreeing with everything they do. They are a terrifyingly efficient army, never have I suggested in any way they are tree hugging hippies (not seen anyone else suggest that either).

As a sign of your possibly unconscious bias, you said that Israel had committed genocide when that hasn't been legally decided yet. A completely neutral person would not rush to assign such labels until all the facts are known. A neutral person could disagree with a lot of what Israel has done in the war but they would also acknowledge the difficulties the IDF are working under in Gaza. They would empathise with both sides.

As I said before, not many of us are truly unbiased when it comes to Gaza.

@IcyPlumShaker you make good points but I have already stated that I don't support the right wing government in Israel even though neither I nor anybody else has come up with an alternative action against Hamas after 7 October.
That date remains the one where the highest number of Jewish people have been killed since the Holocaust and unleashed the huge amount of antisemitism (because Israel!) when those of us in the diaspora have no jurisdiction where the Israeli government is concerned.
Jews have faced hostility and anti semitism (including on MN on the CITME board) not seen before in my long lifetime. It has shaken many of us to the core.
So I will always be in the side of Jews everywhere, including Israelis. I am very grateful to those non Jews (and fortunately there are plenty of them ❤️) who stand with us 🙏

Fair enough. And to be clear, I don't condone anti-semitism of any kind. I'm sorry if you've experienced this on mn, or elsewhere.

Have a good day.

We all have bias including you so it's a bit rich to be lecturing other people about it. Many people who you would say are biased in Israel's favour HAVE criticised Israel for certain things that happened during the war. At least @HappyFace2025 is honest about her bias and has very good reasons for supporting Israel. It's almost impossible to look at things like Gaza without bias and you are not immune to it either.

We all have views on the Gaza and Iran war and we all get criticised for them on occasion. That isn't because we are wrong to express our opinions it's because wars are always highly controversial.

I don't want to deny the Jewish people the right to exist, or a place to exist in. I firmly believe in a two-state solution - including a happy, prosperous, and peaceful Israel and a happy, prosperous and peaceful Palestine.

I just find the bias on this thread astounding. People seem to be happy to call out Hamas for their atrocities, yet unwilling to call out Israel for its actions in Gaza - that's just hypocrisy.

Even if you include the hostages taken on Oct 7th, that's still fewer than 2,000 casualties caused by Hamas. Israel has killed more than 30 times that number in Gaza. But no, let's make it all about Oct 7th, and how awful that was...

For example, I'm British. I can look back at the history of my country and see the many good things that Britain has done ( fighting fascism, ending slavery etc ) and the many bad things too ( colonialism, role in the slave trade, concentration camps etc )

Try looking at things without bias, and you might find people less willing to criticise you.

Don't @ me with comparing number of deaths.
I make no secret of my 'bias'. As a Jewish woman whose maternal family died in concentration camps I will always be a Zionist.
That doesn't make me complicit with the Right wing government but since 7 October 2023 it has rudely been brought home both to me and the majority of the Jewish diaspora that we need Israel now, more than ever. There will always be people (including Jews) who will deny us that homeland.

@IcyPlumShaker death toll 7 October 1195 doesn't include those who were taken hostage and died during captivity.
Gaza death toll has yet to be verified and covered from 8 October 2023 until the current ceasefire. Many innocent people died. It's a war.

Of course it's material if people keep on bandying the word genocide about!
A poster on another thread has quoted that 5% of the Gazan population has died during the war (don't know where she got that statistic). That is not a genocide however appalling you find Israel defending itself from countless rocket and terrorist attacks in the 20 years Hamas has ruled Gaza.

Edited

I don't deny for a minute that Hamas has conducted many terrorist actions over the years. Including the atrocities on Oct 7th.

What I find reprehensible is that you - and so many others on here - find it accept to diminish Israel's actions in this conflict. Your bias is obvious.

Israel has been waging war against Palestine since 1947. Not just the 1948 Nakba, but illegal settlements in Palestinian land, illegal detentions of Palestinian citizens, and many other human rights violations. The genocide in Gaza is just the latest - and most visible - chapter in a long history of Israeli brutality.

Oh, and by the way - death toll Oct 7th: 1,195. Death toll in Gaza: est. 75,000.
