While the vote in Gorton and Denton may be described as a 'protest' vote the strength of both the Greens and Reform performance is something to worry all of us not just Labour.

It's fine to have Billionaires as long as everyone else is doing okay, because without the 'little poor people' they wouldn't be billionaires. It's only right they pay their dues. Like that's going to happen though.

That's rubbish. I worked in homeless units in 1995 - and street sleeping was actually almost eradicated in the UK -until UC came in. Also - please don't bother calling people who are pro Palestine Zionists if that's your next comment . You can support Palestine without being anti Jewish

Please don't call people nutters. It's a horrible nasty mental health slur and it's completely unnecessary. Just don't. The forced voting has been completely de bunked

I'm pro Palestine. I'm not a nutter. I used to visit asylum seekers in Dungavel and one friend from Palestine was so terrified of being sent back he fled to Ireland and we never saw him again

But the main reason I hate people being called nutters is that I had a relative with schizophrenia who took their own life

You can say what you like about people who don't have the same views as you - but the minute you start saying all Green voters are nutters - you lose the point you were trying to make

Just having taxes as they were at the height of Thatcherism- say 1987- would make a massive difference. Nobody said she was a communist, yet there was a top rate of 60% for income tax and corporation tax was 10% higher than it is now
