I used to work in a custody suite (drugs worker, not police) and am very familiar with the booking in and subsequent processes and it is amusing me to think of Andrew at the desk; He's been there a fair while so will no doubt have been offered a mircowaved meal and a few machine brewed hot drinks. Hot chocolate was always popular with detainees. It would make a fab episode of 24 hours in Police Custody

We need Emily Maitless!

God I’d love to be the custody sergeant booking him in 😄

’Name?’

’Could you spell that for me?’

‘Windsor’ as in the castle, yeah?’

The jokes are happening all over. My friend just texted me and said 'what's this about Andrew?' When I said 'Watch the news it's all over it!' she said 'No sweat'.😂😂😂

I think the whole thing has been stage managed, the arrest on Andrew's birthday and Charles out and about in public being "kingly" and making some bland remark about letting law take its course or something to that effect.

Thank you. 100% agree. 'Oh Cammy the public hate me what can I do to improve my image?'

'Just have him arrested, he will be out in a few days, and we'll buy him a pizza'.

She raised them all. It’s not just Andrew. The King was buddies with Jimmy Saville and they all loved Lord Mountbatten.
They are a dysfunctional family who live off benefits.

Odd. I'm sure they'd have more than £16,000 in their accounts.

Scarily I tend to agree. I do not like, or trust, or in fact have any time whatsoever for Charles. I think he's shady, out of touch, nasty, and all about himself. Therefore, although I can't swear to it, I believe he has made sure the spotlight is shone on Andrew to make himself look good and be more popular, because he knows he isn't a popular king. Not saying Andrew isn't guilty, he is, but there is more to this than JUST Andrew being guilty.

If he goes down, he will have to be on the special wing for his protection.

Unlikely. Most offenders spend a fortnight in the local prison before being categorised. Many prominent criminals, somehow, go straight to a Cat D (open) prison within a few short weeks. A Cat D, to other offenders, is the Holy Grail, ever sought for.

Yes I agree with this. For many reasons I have always thought Charles wasn't worthy of his title but even more so now. All this crap about 'I am horrified about the allegations', my backside. Of course he knew and is therefore complicit.

Edited

Of course he did!

I'm trying not to let it because she reigned for 70 plus years and to be honest, although of course I don't know for sure, I always felt she was a really lovely lady who felt a lot of pain and shame and did her best.

But what we are left with now is just a joke. She'd be horrified.

I don't think people are mistaken.

We are women. We know there will be no justice for those girls, now women.

We're just happy to see his downfall, regardless of the reasons.

Agree. Sadly 😔

I'll be shocked if this goes much further. Call me cynical but I think this is just for appearances , that it's being made to look like something is being done. I think any concrete evidence will either be long gone and or would have been covered up. I definitely think he's guilty but I doubt he'll end up in court.

I am not British but I have always been AMAZED that for a country that has contributed so much to literature, art and science, that this bunch of inbreds was what made so many proud to be British.

The British do themselves a disservice thinking it's this family that draws the tourists and interest.

The thing about all the scandals is that they are so inextricably linked to Andrew being Royal.

I THINK I'VE JUST SPOTTED SARAH FERGUSON

Please do not share this and keep it confidential but Sarah Ferguson has not publicly been seen since 25 September 2025. But this morning I'm 90% she was in front of me in Greggs on services M4, she bought the bacon bap meal deal and a cup of tea (she actually asked for a pot of tea but they do not offer this). When it was my turn to be served the lady on counter said 'was that who I think it was'

I actually saw some poor bastard who was the dead spit of Andrew in my local park during a different flurry of Andrew scandals.

The poor bloke looked ground down by life.

(My dad is the dead spit of a former Archbishop of Canterbury and I recognised the look of weary resignation when I did a double take)

Allotmentblackfly · 19/02/2026 15:38

He has used his privilege to do dreadful things and it’s good he is brought to justice. He must be suffering terribly as his past comes back to bite him.

I hope all these new Andrew threads are moved to the RF then I can avoid them....too much already!!

Some of the comments are amusing though. And don't worry, be tomorrows fish and chip paper soon.

Plus, its rare that I've seen a thread where pretty much everyone agrees that this is a good thing or amusing!

All this has soured my opinion of the late Queen, unfortunately. She must have known what he was like and chose to ignore it, hoping it would go away. “ Never complain, never explain” The family motto needs changing!

Imagine his pompous outrage! Now for Peter Mandleson. Apparently it's very hard to prove the offence of Misconduct in Public Office though.

You could easily imagine a good lawyer getting him off sex charges by presenting him as an arrogant albeit unsavoury moron who genuinely believed every young woman wanted him because he was a prince, and that these very very clever bad men made up stories about him to set him up as a patsy/smokescreen/fall guy in case of need.

I should say that I don’t believe that, or only partially, but it’s a POV I’ve heard a few times.

Let's hope ignorance is not a defence in this instance, esp as it seemed to happen more than once..

Did she have Shergar tied up in the car park?
