Queue someone making a video of him being interviewed by AC12.
Trouble is, he'll just sit there with the most expensive lawyer Charlie can buy saying "No comment".

Should that not be a conflict of interest. AW has been detained at His Majesty’s pleasure, but His Majesty could be paying the defence fees?

That's how I've read the news.
Its about misconduct in office.

Is it to do with sending Epsrein copies of sensitive/private UK trade deals?

It is part of the Epstein case, if Epstein or his team lead Andrew to share these papers. As I read elsewhere, part of the reason for the setup of the sex crime ring was to get material with which to get people to share information.

Although it is possible that people would voluntarily share info with Epstein.

funrunsunday · 19/02/2026 12:15

The King's statement 😆. Definitely making little brother pay for being the Queen's best boy and golden child.

Velentia · 19/02/2026 12:14

Misconduct in a Public Office is the charge according to the police. That will mean financial crime not sex ones.
With financial crime there will be evidence, dates of transactions etc. It will not be opinion or interpretation.

HelpMeGetThrough · 19/02/2026 12:14

They are only saying they’ve arrested him as a cover up.

They’ve really taken him out for a Birthday Teddy Bears Picnic.

QueenStevie · 19/02/2026 12:13

Statement from KC in that link 👆

Wendywooooo · 19/02/2026 12:11

This could all work out nicely for him, he'll still get to live rent free in a big house owned by his brother

chickenpotnoodle · 19/02/2026 12:11

How the mighty have fallen - from what I have heard about him - an obnoxious character all round - Fergie to follow ??

I bet he's sweating now

He is known as The Sweaty Nonce in our household.

HoskinsChoice · 19/02/2026 11:05

I don't think you understand what is going on here.

Firstly, if there was evidence of SA, then they would arrest him. There is nothing in the public domain that suggests he is guilty of SA in the UK (Paying for sex is legal and commonplace in the UK. There has never been any suggestion of underage sex in the UK).

Secondly, he has been arrested for business dealings. This is not related to SA.

The age of consent for sex work is 18 in the UK, not 16. If he had sex with a 17 year old girl who was trafficked to the UK for sex, that sounds criminal to me. I don't understand why this point isn't being picked up. Normally 16 is rhe age of consent, but it is older for sex work for all the obvious reasons.

Yes he will be photographed, fingerprints and have his DNA taken as per all suspects that are arrested.

he will be taken to a cell and offered a solicitor.

he is with Thames valley police.

Andrew doesn’t sweat remember!!

Oops sorry! Of course he doesn’t sweat, silly me😉
I watch a lot of tv detective shows and wasn’t sure of real-life procedure… Oh Jeez, he’s going to be livid! 😁

Butchyrestingface · 19/02/2026 12:06

The king has just released a statement.

TLDR: Fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

HelplessSoul · 19/02/2026 10:28

There is no evidence that she gave him money for this pay off, and certainly no evidence for the sum of £12m.

Considering he has very little money of his own....

I don’t think they should keep DNA if you’re ultimately found not guilty, or at least not if you’re not charged. I’m not sure that is thoroughly followed though.
It may be useful in other investigations.

I hope he’s in a normal cell and I hope they’re busy.

I’d love him to decline a rep, that made me laugh, but expect the important people have heavily pressured him otherwise. He will have been prepped before this - but he may not listen!

Butchyrestingface · 19/02/2026 12:00

On his birthday too. 🥳🎉🪩🎂

What a time to be alive.

MenoMenace · 19/02/2026 12:00

Did anyone read the Andrew Lownie book Entitled? Defo worth a read to understand the awful nature of both Andrew & Fergie. Looks like he might have loads more fodder for a second book now!

8misskitty8 · 19/02/2026 11:55

No statement from the king yet. Hes got to say something surely ?

Hope hes being treated the same as joe public and is in a cell. Bet hes sweating now.

I suspect the statement will come from Buckingham Palace rather than a named individual, we shall see though.

SchoolDilemmas123 · 19/02/2026 11:55

BigBlackPuppyDog · 19/02/2026 11:49

Crikey! I didn’t expect this today! 😱

Will he be finger-printed, photographed and have his DNA taken? Or is that only if you’re charged? Sorry, don’t know the actual process.

I bet he’s bloody furious… being treated like “the little people”

All red and sweaty, bellowing for his lawyer and shouting “don’t you know who I am?”😤😤

And on his birthday, too…

Yes he will be photographed, fingerprints and have his DNA taken as per all suspects that are arrested.

he will be taken to a cell and offered a solicitor.

he is with Thames valley police.

Andrew doesn’t sweat remember!!

Thindog · 19/02/2026 11:55

I hope he’s allowed a teddy with him.!

shellyleppard · 19/02/2026 11:55

BeserkingTuesday · 19/02/2026 11:53

Those saying no action elsewhere I would point towards France, Jack Lang; Norway ex PM Thorbjørn Jagland has been charged with "gross corruption" ; Dubai multi millionnaire Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem.
There will be a lot of uneasy heads.
Re AWM & SA there is, so far, no evidence of offences in this country

MauveLibrary · 19/02/2026 11:51

He absolutely deserves to face the full weight of the law. If he has committed a criminal offence or offences then he deserves to be arrested, convicted and jailed. Nobody should be above the law least of all this repugnant excuse for a human being
