OK. I'll call it £5million just for you!

It is obvious it was a huge amount and it's obvious QE2 contributed or paid it all. And me saying that doesn't undermine a single thing.

If you want no figures talked about or QE2 paying it, there are probably 500 news reports on this, you might need to contact them!

Perhaps it’s time for a significant investigation of the Royal Family’s finances and to enforce them complying with the same transparency and tax laws as everyone else.

They'll just isolate him. Lots of prisoners have to be kept away from other prisoners.

I just can’t actually believe that it’s happened and he might face justice for what he’s done. Whether that’s the girls, the public office stuff or anything else, he must have thought he was untouchable. He’s an absolute disgrace.

Happyjoe · 19/02/2026 14:04

TheKittenswithMittens · 19/02/2026 13:42

If he goes down, he will have to be on the special wing for his protection.

Perhaps he'll do an 'Epstein' while in prison?

Won’t it cost bazillions to protect him though? Although that said, it probably does anyway.

@BeRoseViewer wow I wonder if having sex with a trafficked girl should be classified as rape ?

I don't know, and laws might change as they do constantly.

But then you have to take into consideration of how that would effect victims of trafficking who are then unable to have any truly consensual, enthusiastically given sexual relationships without their chosen sexual partners being considered rapists under the law.

How would it work? in other words.

I wonder if he has to sit in a cell, like 24 hours in police custody, I do hope so.
how the mighty have fallen.

The next episode is going to be interesting 😁

Of course they can.

Poor Virginia, never got to see this day.

Not sure she would be that bothered about him passing a few business deals on! If they ever find some evidence of wrongdoing in relation to sex trafficking so they can arrest him for that she might be happier.

CustardySergeant · 19/02/2026 13:58

PinkNeonSign · 19/02/2026 13:54

The mind boggles, I’m glad he’s been arrested, but what will they do with him now? They can’t just put him in the slammer can they?

Of course they can.

Quine0nline · 19/02/2026 13:57

Let's wait for any charges and trial verdict before we bang him up.

I bet he's sweating now

Don't see why not. There's a prisoner called Robert Maudsley who has been living in solitary confinement for many years. If Andrew is that worried, they can do the same for him. Or Trump could come and keep him company.

theworldisadarkplace · 19/02/2026 13:54

Love this!

Pity his cellmate. Maybe the Duke of Marlborough?

Randomuser2026 · 19/02/2026 13:56

KatyaKanani · 19/02/2026 11:04

I think that's a good point.
At least there's action against AMW.

Exactly. More than one way to skin a cat and Misconduct in Public Office carries a max of Life Imprisonment

ParylDrafter · 19/02/2026 11:23

Fingers crossed that Andrew finally gets his wish and ends up living in a huge house owned by his brother

Love this!

TheKittenswithMittens · 19/02/2026 13:52

The King has said,"The law must take its course" - that's what used to be said when the final appeal against a sentence of death had failed. The prisoner would be hanged a few days later.

Livingthebestlife · 19/02/2026 13:51

Theda13 · 19/02/2026 13:51

Let’s hope Mandelson will be arrested next.

GrimDamnFanjo · 19/02/2026 13:51

What a complete mess - of their own making - I do not want to hear "released without charge" - it will be very interesting to see how the RF manage this now.

ByLimeDuck · 19/02/2026 13:49

HoskinsChoice · 19/02/2026 13:46

Knew what? Who knew? Who waited? What are you on about?

You realise that the police have arrested him in connection with his business dealings which were uncovered as a result of the files the US government has released in the last week or so. The Queen has been dead for a few years and had no control over the US government. 🤣

You can't possibly be that naive. It's also to 'get him' for his associations with Epstein. Of COURSE Charles knew, if QE knew, Charles knew - about everything, whether dodgy dealings or sex offences.

PaperTyger · 19/02/2026 13:49

@Playingvideogames I wonder if he is thinking about it though ! He doesn't seem to have ever ever understood what he's done wrong

Weetabix11 · 19/02/2026 13:48

Whoa! Did not expect this will ever happen.

Well done UK police. Hope Andrew and the rest of the co conspirators are brought to justice, and hope this puts pressure on US government to start taking action
