Yes of course - why would anyone object to those coming legally? They have been checked for criminal records, pass all the criteria and are very welcome. Just as my neighbours were when they came.

No-one knows how many gave got here illegally. I strongly suspect the true figue is far higher than the "official" one for obvious reasons.

I should add, I am not a person of colour, but I believe the people of colour who are seeing a rise in racism, and it sickens me.

The huge mistake many white people are making is thinking that they will be protected, that having a far right political party in power will help them financially, will result in better public services, more affordable homes, a stronger economy, a booming job market.

It's more likely that it will bring authoritarianism, instability and put the majority in a weaker position.

Many Germans probably welcomed the clamp down on Jewish people. But they might not have supported it if they'd known the years of physical and economic devastation it would bring them.

Only about 15% of the world population is white. So, world-wide, we are already a minority. We always have been.

Also, roughly, the percentage of habitable land mass in the world, majority occupied by white "civilisations" is around 35%. This disparity is primarily due to colonisation of many countries by white people. So we are hogging land as well.

If people of the UK do not want "others" in their country, then perhaps, all the descendants of British colonists in other "white" countries should hand the lands back to the original owners, and all move back to the UK. Then this country would have a massive majority of white people.

The census in 2021. In London the % identifying as White British was about 37%. Leicester was 41%. England and Wales as a whole was about 75%.

It’s one thing to not care about whites becoming an ethnic minority, or even to celebrate it, but it is wrong to gaslight others into thinking it’s not actually happening!!!

Ive noticed a big increase in this at work with patients ranting to me about immigrants etc I guess because Im white.
Im actually sick of it because my family is mixed race.
I shut them down straight away. Outside work too there seems to be growing intolerance.

Because white men have huge respect for women, and never abuse them? You might want to reflect on the fact that since the 1920s, women’s rights and respect for them have improved exponentially, at the same time as immigration has increased. Perhaps look up correlation v causation.

And don’t bother with the “yeah but why import more” because you could get rid of every single brown or black personality in the U.K. and violence against women would still be the epidemic that it is now.

Have you visited Birmingham lately? I actually cried when I returned at Christmas. It has seen a massive demographic change in the last 25 years.

Go back 100 years and there was moral panic about that area being an Ashkenazi Jewish ghetto. Before that it was the damn Huguenots not integrating. Let's not forget the "yellow peril" in Limehouse, with Chinese immigrants all being accused of running opium dens and white slavery ("protect are wimmin" etc etc). In that era of course, parts of the West End were "no go" areas because they were full of feckless dirty Irish etc etc..

Can't even drink 10 pints of lager and roam the streets with your shirt off chanting obscenities after your team loses at the footie any more without a certain demographic giving you dirty looks. It's cultural erasure I tell you.

I don't care what colour people are but I don't like the influx of young men with no gainful employment and nothing much to lose who behave badly and get involved in criminal activity. We have enough of our own young men of this type, we don't want to take on more.

I think multiculturalism is great and it works really well in parts of London. However, immigration doesn't necessarily lead to multiculturalism or diversity. I worked in a school which was 98% Muslim Bangladeshi. It catered extremely well for that demographic. It was an outstanding school and not a faith school but I think other ethnicities tended to be a bit put off because their children would be rather isolated.
