Dd’s friends mum always saying she doesn’t like what Dd makes

A few times now, Dd (7) has made her best friend at school little things-boxes with hearts in or card’s with glitter etc.
Dd has mentioned that each time she gives her best friend something she’s made, her friend says that she loves it but her mum said she doesn’t like it. This has happened a few times, seems odd?

Tbf I think it is likely the glitter she objects to

I’m wondering if she doesn’t like my Dd, or is that being a bit paranoid!

Maybe she’s trying to give them to her mum and the mum is saying, ‘thanks, but it’s not really my thing, your friend made it for you, you keep it’.

You can't do a lot can you? It sounds a bit darft. Mayby stop gifting? Glitter from things can be a nightmare tbh to have around.

It is an odd thing for the friend and her mum to say. That said, when you say cards with glitter…do you mean glitter pens? Or do you mean glitter sprinkled on or in the card which when falls out onto clothing and carpets etc?

She put glitter on one card-stuck on with glue, appreciate this could be annoying, but to say she doesn’t like it…seems mean
