New to statins

I’m new to statins due to dangerous high cholesterol that’s due to
same in my family… my mom died of a heart attack at 60. Im 40
i keep feeling really shaky…. I have read online it can play havoc with blood sugar? I’m actuallt
scared how shaky I actyallt am? Any advice plz

I am on statins no side effects what so ever but look at the side effects of your tablets. If shaking is one speak to the gp about trying another

I tried statins last year for the same reason - polygenic hypercholesterolemia. I was very very allergic (came out in massive spots and my skin was crawling). I am now on Nustendi as an alternative (ezetimibe and bempedoic acid) with no issues at all. I would phone your GP.
