To consider Mounjaro to lose a stone

Before we get started, I appreciate that I may not even be able to find anywhere to prescribe it…..

For context my BMI is 23, but I am a stone heavier in the last 6 months and just feel so shit. I can’t stop eating absolute rubbish all the time due to stress.

I have successfully dieted in the past and lost weight, but peri, going through a very brutal divorce from a horrible man and all the uncertainty it brings, solo parenting 3 young kids (2 with SEN who are in crisis) and trying to work full time just means I have no capacity at all. I never get a moment to myself and am just utterly mentally and physically exhausted. I have the kids 95% of the time as their Dad refuses to see them apart from every other weekend.

I want to feel good again, in my clothes, I want to stop
annoying myself with terrible stress related food choices. My cholesterol is high and this is not helping.

Any words of wisdom? Not even sure I would find anywhere that would prescribe it, I’d much rather rather just lose the weight but just can’t right now.

Words of wisdom please anyone?

I’m not sure on the MJ. But I am doing a calorie defect to loose approximately a stone. If you want someone to join you for accountability on here I’m in 😊

Unless you go down dodgy routes there is no way you will get prescribed it, no may about it. And then, if you get it illegally how do you even know what you are getting is legitimate. Honestly, just forget about mountjaro, you need to get your head in the game and focus on your diet. The jab is not a quick or easy fix, there is nothing in the jab itself that makes you lose weight, it is purely down to diet and exercise.

I am with Team RH, they have a great app, give brilliant advise and it's 7.99 a month. I get his way isn't for everyone but it is an effective programme, with qualified coaches and it's all about weight loss in a healthy way. would you consider something like that? Honestly MJ is not for people who have a stone to lose, it really isn't the way forward for you.

You won’t be able to get it at that BMI

And before anyone gives me a kicking for being so stupid, some helpful comments to give me some motivation or something would also be very much appreciated. I’m in a really hard phase of life atm so will take anything I can get!
