to think "grapefruit" or "rhubarb" scents smell like BO?

I've always thought the kind of "tang" of these scents (in body sprays, washing liquids, etc) is just like really strong BO. Is it just me?

I never thought this until my OH mentioned my pink grapefruit lip balm smelling of BO…now it’s all I can smell 😂

Not at all but I can't use Ecover washing up liquid aloe Vera because it smells like weeds.

Yep, I’ve got a face wash that must have grapefruit in it and every time I use it I can smell grapefruit and BO.

I always think that cumin seeds smell of BO, especially when being toasted, but I’m embarrassed to have to say that I do like their taste in food

Love the smell of grapefruit and never smelled BO.

Never smelled rhubarb by itself.

I like most grapefruit scents, but my mother grew rhubarb and whilst I can sometimes appreciate the taste, a stick of rhubarb really doesn’t smell of much, so the idea of a rhubarb scent is nonsense to me

I find rhubarb things often smell like cat wee! Which is odd because rhubarb itself does not
