It’s obviously light relief from the trump debacle. The orange ones comments on Afghanistan etc. although i do believe ‘children’ should be allowed to choose their lives. It is tough on VB particularly. I know none of them though. Let them work it out if they can.

If they were a spoiled billionaire’s daughter & VB it might not come as a shock.

jees. My mil was a nightmare and no vb. but i would have hated her for that. Just for clarity she was no dancer nor was my ex hub.

It wasn’t in official running programme I think. NP already angry VB sticking oar in NB: wedding texts. It seems SUCH a first world problem & BB expecting our sympathy shows his privilege IMO. Get a grip. Now everyone knows about the worst day of his life, too…

On your wedding day. Your mil is described as most beautiful woman in the room and invited to dance with her son. By her good friend??

I don’t understand why pp’s are minimising the dance, especially as they’d been fighting in the run up to the wedding. Really fighting.

If anyone posted an OP about MIL doing this, dressed in what looks like a bridal negligee, they’d be told they’ve got competition or a nutcase on their hands.

I can’t believe so many allow this to occupy so much space in their thoughts..who actually really cares? There’s so much more concerning things going on both globally and in most people’s lives to even bother about this non issue..

Had BB & NP had a romantic dance earlier (?) I think so. It was the evening set, more informal?

Upsetting as it no doubt was to BB this really feels out-of-touch & makes me want to play the world’s tiniest violin for him. NP & VB locked in competition? Ridiculous.

But the couple had already had their first dance by all accounts, and then the bride had danced with her dad. Then the singer called vb up to dance with her son while david and Harper also danced. I dont see the big deal. Her entire family storming out seems over dramatic

Fat Tony said dance was inappropriate because of timing (MA singing a love song which should be moment for bride and groom) rather than nature of VB dancing.

Apparently, NP stormed out in tears, followed by her family, while BB was left dancing with his mum, which is why he felt humiliated. He then went after NP.

I never called them horrible people. Brooklyn wasn't abused or starved and I'm sure they love him a lot, but having watched someone I love grow up with toxic parents who also didn't neglect or starve them but has caused a massive amount of harm, I do have a great deal of sympathy for him.

V&D possibly weren't aware that their actions were having such an impact on him, but they were and that buck stops with them.

The dob thing just came as a surprise because they'd always branded themselves as being a superior family brand and I don't think Brooklyn was that old when Mr Mel B was on the scene. That still doesn't mean that I put them on a par with The Wests.

Not easy but not the worst tragedy either. It does feel like a very ill judged ‘surprise’ by Mum which suggests kindly she might be a tad self absorbed. Has he married his Mum?

He was in a terrible predicament. If he followed his wife, his mother would have been left standing like a plank in front of 500 guests. It was a loyalty test. He couldn’t win without embarrassing one of the ladies in his life.

I do have sympathy for how Brooklyn grew up, but I agree that some of the details that people are coming out with are a bit odd. Don’t they post happy birthday to him every year on Instagram? I guess they do know the date of his birthday.
