Where is it?

Will they even do one?

Has anyone changed their initial viewpoint on the whole thing?

And lastly….Team Brooklyn or Team Beckham?

I just hope that other celebrities will think again when using their kids as part of a brand.

Parliament is debating a social media ban for kids under sixteen, parents should definitely be banned from using them as PR.

lazyarse123 · 22/01/2026 23:19

I have no problem believing Victoria has acted inappropriately. There are loads of pictures over the years of Victoria draped over her son. Quite cringeworthy.
It's hardly his fault that he's been spoilt financially. And the looks VB has given Nichola are not hiding her feelings either.

He will never be able to belt a free kick in from thirty yards like his dad or mumble a couple of words in the middle of a song like his mum

David’s talent is undeniable. Victoria… less so. But whatever you think of her musical ability she is a good business woman and was part of a huge movement with the spice girls. Brooklyn has always just seemed a bit meh to me. Didn’t he try and be a photographer at one point and was useless at it? It must be huge pressure growing up with such infamous parents. I would never presume to know what’s going on in anyone’s private family business. It’s stupid to take sides or assume our opinions are facts when they are based on nothing but gossip. It’s just very sad for all involved.

zanahoria · 22/01/2026 23:18

I think it all went wrong with that stupid photo book. He was only 18 so his parents must have arranged for it to be published. How could Brand beckham with all its PR twonkery not have known that it would be a complete embarrassment for him. Ever since then he has just been a figure of fun trying to prove himself but looking more ridiculous.

I heard this, but don’t believe Vb would allow herself to be humiliated like that, in this way and their whole’Brand’ seems weird

I dont think any mum (except with the most extreme personality disorder, which she wouldnt have been able to hide so well) would publicly bring hate on their child by replying to something like that.

She probably has faults, she may realise some truth in some of what he said, she may not have accepted Nicola well, she may be angry with him, but I think she will still ignore it hoping that one day she'll be able to fix things with him.

TheFireHorse · 22/01/2026 23:15

Yes I agree they will keep a dignified silence. I spent about an hour watching the TikTok's videos of a guy who used to do Crisis Media or something like that.

It was very interesting insight into what the Beckhams Media Team may be doing and the cost!! As it is some of things he mentioned are happening. Negative stories about Nicola etc being on socials.

I do feel sorry for the Beckhams really not sure why they get such a bad rap.

And the parallels between BB and Prince Harry are just amazing. 2 spoilt unintelligent wannabes!

And the lies they both tell which can all be disproved.

I'm not normally interested in showbiz gossip, but this is off the scale.

Would he have got those opportunities and income had it not been for his name I wonder?

Yes but…honestly I am not sure he has that memo. His FIL is now his business mentor apparently so perhaps we’ll see a ‘sauce’ empire.

LancashireButterPie · 22/01/2026 23:13

I think it's sad for any family to experience this and worse that it's all aired publicly.
I met VB quite a few times when Brooklyn was little as our kids went to the same weekly sports class and soft play. Brooklyn was always with her rather than a nanny and sometimes her Mum too and she seemed like any other normal loving young mum.
I can take no pleasure in others pain and I hope that they all find a way to reconciliation.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 22/01/2026 23:12

Kids are fucked up through dysfunctional families everywhere. Some are fucked up despite having great ones.

I'm pretty sure that, whatever the truth, it doesn't help anybody actually concerned to encourage it to be played out in public for entertainment, though. If he's right, you're encouraging a controlling and potentially abusive family to continue their control and horrible treatment of him, and if they're 'innocent' and he's 'just' a brat or controlled by his wife or whatever, you're encouraging him to scorch the earth even more and helping the new people in his life to isolate him further. Which makes each article, each thread, more damaging than the last.

Lemondessert · 22/01/2026 23:11

I think their silence will speak volumes. I can’t say I am on brooklyns side. It’s bad taste to throw your family under the bus. Fair enough he doesn’t have to agree with their choices but to write a huge statement when his mum had liked a few sm posts seems massively ott. His sob story doesn’t come close to children living with neglect etc. Posh and Becks are not royal they don’t need to give a statement.

PinkPanther57 · 22/01/2026 23:00

He has an independent net worth of 10 million or something from modelling, TV & sauce etc, but yes…

I have the text of it

"Kids, eh?"

Coercive control isn’t always from a male. It can work both ways. I’m certainly not saying it is coercive control and perhaps BB simply feels aggrieved with something his parents have done? No-one on this thread (as far as I know) knows about the lives of any of them.

Having her life size eyes tattooed on back of his neck seems an unusual choice but I am not down with kids so…

sickofsixseven · 22/01/2026 23:06

I'd imagine Brooklyn and his wife would love some tit for tat drama in the press. He's still their son at the end of the day though and I'm sure they're all very upset about it all. Its best to say nothing and leave the door open for when he inevitably wants back in. Its a lot like prince Harry and the rf really. Much better to never complain, never explain than be constantly airing your dirty laundry!

xSnowFairyx · 22/01/2026 23:03

Team neither.

I don’t think D&V will be releasing any public statements. They’ll be advised not to. As it will turn into a massive ‘tit for tat’ frenzy. They’ll concentrate on their own brands and Romeo and Cruz’s careers.

Mirabellas · 22/01/2026 23:03

NeedlingKat · 22/01/2026 22:52

Thank goodness we've moved onto 'it MUST be a woman's fault' nice and quickly.

I never post on celeb stuff but have to fess up to being intrigued by this.

VB always strikes me as quite reserved and slightly awkward, even in the Spice Girls. Silly dancing maybe and attention grabbing outfits, but inappropriate dancing with her son in front of people just seems pretty far fetched given she’s so controlled in every other way?

Incredible stress & booze perhaps.

PinkPanther57 · 22/01/2026 23:01

KnifeForkSpork · 22/01/2026 23:00

A billionaire suing a wedding planner for circa $100K isn’t a good look either. I wonder if Brooklyn was worried about displeasing his new family.

True. NP’s texts reveal too she really wanted VB out of loop ‘don’t tell Victoria’.

KnifeForkSpork · 22/01/2026 23:01

Saying nothing is likely the best antidote, any response just provides more fodder.

Kingscallops · 22/01/2026 23:01

Let's also not forget now he's got his knighthood, focus is on David to prove it wasn't a mockery gong. They will have been advised.

They’ll be like the royals - don’t complain, don’t explain.

I do find it laughable how Brooklyn was happy to cash in on his ‘unauthentic’ family’s brand well into adulthood and has only spoken out now that he’s found another rich person to bankroll him.

Im sure there are issues as there are in all families but he is coming across as a real brat.

The leaked wedding planning texts paint a very unpleasant picture & show - politely - very poor character even accounting for wedding stress.
