David and Victoria’s press statement

I am Team parents on this, absolutely no need for the detailed rant from their son. A simple I have decided to go no contact with my parents would have been sufficient or just silence.

I think no statement from David and Victoria Beckham is the appropriate thing.

Its because he goes for the easy option all the time and relies on his family. He didn't train for years as a photographer. He didnt train for years as a chef to be good enough to do a worthwhile cooking show. Hes not good-looking enough to be a model. Not everyone can play football for England.

How did he do at school? Is there something he could be good at if he worked hard and did some exams? Like most people have to

They will be desperate to stop their precious brand from crumbling, so there won’t be any press statement. I believe BB and hope this is the beginning of the end for Brand Beckham, which we all know is a sad facade. You reap what you sow.

They don’t need to make a statement, they will just have their PR leak stories.

I think BB could well have gone straight from the frying pan into the fire.

What he really needed was time away from his family and away from the press to quietly discover his own interests, values, - and his own self worth, before launching himself and driving his own career forwards from the bottom up. I feel sad that any encouragement and guidance down that path, if he had any, came to nothing.
He always seemed to be floundering about not really achieving much of value to himself. His confidence must have taken many knocks being such a public figure of interest.
What prospects does he have except a loving, if slightly misguided family who he (or somebody close to him) insists on alienating.

It seems his self esteem was so lacking that he now sees it as success, to hitch himself to an even wealthier family whilst publicly rejecting his own.

I’m sure the Beckham family are all devastated. The statement blaming them was so unnecessary even if it’s BB’s truth for now. I wonder if he’s already regretting it.
I hope he eventually sees the bigger picture and finds his way back to forgiving and accepting his loving family into his life again. And I really hope he finds a worthwhile path for himself.
(But I do wish VB would lose the pose and the pout.)

They no doubt love their son very much so perhaps wont want to add fuel to the fire by making any statements . Perhaps just hoping it will blow over one day.

Harper may not be bothered as chances are she's the golden child. Especially considering she's the only girl to VB and the youngest as well. In a narcissistic family, each child is treated very differently. BB was possibly the scapegoat and sidelined over the years, not unusual for the eldest since they're expected to be most independent and generally ignored in favour of younger siblings.

Brooklyn and Nicola have done a staged pap walk for Backgrid, her carrying a coffee cup in her left hand so that her wedding ring is front and centre. It’s giving worldwide privacy tour.

Never complain, never explain would be their best option.

Is she sister to the models? Their names escape me right now.
Is that all, the 4 Hadid children or are there more?
Do we like them? I don’t recall ever having heard anything negative about them.
I don’t recall having heard anything much about them at all.
I thought the trolling was pretty funny but it was relatively minor - I don’t go in for bullying.

I wonder what Zayn Malik thinks of Yolande Hadid! It was in the media he had problems with her as well so I wouldn't take anything that the Hadid's say as the truth, it all comes across as no one is good enough for them. Not Zayn and not Nicola.

Not to mention that Alana's mother is a pretty .. interesting person herself. She would really know what 'toxic' means...

God the amount of positive stories the Beckhams are throwing out about themselves, and ones about how devil Brooklyn and Nicola are is insane .
They have no problems at all trying to bury their own son to stay on top, I’ve never seen anything like it.

Whatever the rights and wrongs why do these people feel the need to trash their families and burn their boats in such a public way? They will have kids at some point. Maybe their kids will want to see their grandparents and aunts and uncles. These things allways come.back to bite you. BB has done the wrong thing and he will find that out in due course when he wants to come back, just like Harry is.

What angers me BY FAR the most is that I just read all 5 pages of this gossip.
I’ve never heard the Spice Girls sing and I’ve never seen the husband play soccer.
And I couldn’t pick those boys out of a line-up.
I hate gossip.
If somebody came to me with this exact story about someone I knew in real life, I’d shout LA LA LA LA LA until they gave up trying to talk to me.
I resign. I give up. If this is some sort of set up by the family I’ll never forgive them and if the parents are actually that cruel I’ll never forgive them and if the kid is actually that delulu I’ll never forgive him and if his wife has form form for this I’ll never forgive her.
Most I’ll never forgive myself for getting knee deep into this whole shitty stupid ridiculous mess.

Going by the Hadid family's friends over the years, Nicola's relationship with Anwar's mother (Yolanda) followed a now-familiar pattern: they were all besties for a few months, with Nicola posting loads of pictures of them snuggled up together. These became less frequent. Then she blocked the whole family, no explanation.

It is important that remember that D&V actively sought fame on their own terms, and they used their children to maintain their brand.

No matter what you think about Brooklyn he didn't have that choice and it clearly is not something that he wants or can handle.

Like PHarry he doesn't have any experience being around normal people, and therefore it must be impossible for him to know what normal boundaries are and how to actually manage his emotions going forward.

In one way I think it is good that he was public, because this might push forward legislation to protect children being used as PR for parents organisations. I see Will Smiths children, Beyonce and Jay Z children as people that this also affects. If there is some legislation in the UK I wonder if it will effect the Royal Family.
