Get Victoria Beckham to number 1

just saw a thread on this on Twitter. Apparently her song ‘not such an innocent girl’ has gone to number 12. She has never had a number 1 single. They had it positively for her albeit the title of the song seems unfortunate.

i have no idea what went down but I do love Britain's sense of humour

I’m starting to wonder if the feud is just black ops PR. I’m usually pretty good at ignoring the Beckhams, but it feels like EVERYONE is talking about them and working their arses off to further boost their profiles.

I can't see where she's number 1? I looked at the UK chart just now and she's not on it, where are people seeing this?

I did listen to the song, it's abymysal isn't it, glad I missed it the first time around. My YouTube music is now on a spice girls run though, so that's a plus! Viva forever is a banger.

I’ll get behind the True Steppers one going to number one because it’s a fucking banger (it’d give Dane a few extra quid now he’s doing those shifts in the Croydon South Argos too, bless his heart). But Not Such an Innocent Girl is a baaaaad tune. You’re Out of Your Mind to promote this, OP.

i’m also confused about whether this is being done to support or criticize her.

the message behind the song is essentially “im not at sweet as you think i am” which is basically what brooklyn was saying. choosing this song seems like a passive aggressive dig at her.

but the newspapers seem to think this is being done in support.

i don’t really get it!

I must admit This Groove has always been a bit of a guilty pleasure. And I do think the video for Let Your Head Go is funny.

I would've thought that one was the obvious choice! Mind you it did actually do quite well, I remember the clubs liked it. So maybe that's not the aim!

It was a shit song in the past and still is.
I think it is pathetic how social media whips up a frenzy over very unimportant issues. If this is in any way a PR stunt, they were successful.
This is the modern day public hanging, people drunk on excitement for entertainment.

I forgot I even remembered that song! Read the title of it and it popped back into my head, definitely not going to listen to it as I will be singing it for days!
