Get Victoria Beckham to number 1

just saw a thread on this on Twitter. Apparently her song ‘not such an innocent girl’ has gone to number 12. She has never had a number 1 single. They had it positively for her albeit the title of the song seems unfortunate.

i have no idea what went down but I do love Britain's sense of humour

I think posters are desperate that this is to humiliate Victoria and don’t like the fact that she is getting a lot of public support and celebrity support, yes getting to number one on Spotify, how will she cope with the shame!

Posters on this site always appaer to be very divorced from real life and real life opinions. Most people see her as being fairly wronged here.

How is it humiliating her to buy a song she produced and put in the charts herself and was, by all accounts, quite proud of.???

Its clearly done as an affectionate, quirky weird British sign of support with a good dash of humour. She's our girl after all!

Its like when people used to try to embarrass Kylie when she got more famous and more 'stylish/hip' but actually she started to own it, I should be so Lucky and the duet with Jason. Cheesy pop or cheesy attempts at soul/R+B, its just easy come, easy go pop music.

Yep it’s just the style from the era, it’s not as if any of it has been scrubbed from the internet. Victoria will embrace it I expect, she laughs at herself in the matching leather outfits with David.

The video is all chrome and PVC low trousers like all videos of the era.
The video is very much like the Spice Girls "Holler"

I remember it well! It was from her solo album and was in the charts at the time!

I’ve seen the complete opposite.

Shes embarrassed about the song and the Beckham’s are trying to keep out of the public eye right now.

They are being very careful about what they do and don’t do which is why people are trying to force their hand to resound.

The people trying to get her to number 1 are taking the piss and trying to humiliate her.

I think some people are doing it out of support but that wasn’t the initial reason.

This would be most people’s worst nightmare.
