I think he has finally lost any marbles he had in his tiny little brain!

Not all autistic people are full of empathy, a disproportionate number of killers are autistic (likely because it overlaps with MH issues). Look at Jonty Bravery.

I think Trump is autistic. I heard somewhere he eats the same meal every single day and has other stringent routines. It all fits IMO

This is so fucking offensive I don't know where to start.

That’s what I said earlier! Journalists don’t even bother pointing out the basic incoherence of the whole thing.

Because the media is being more tightly controlled by the few at the top owning it and traditional free press is significantly diminished. Fake Media was and still is a campaign to turn us away from what is happening, to not believe our own eyes and ears.

So he just wants a bit of icy land? Just a thought - does he know about Alaska? Could someone fly him there, let him stick a flag in the ice, and tell him it's his now 🤷‍♀️

(He did say that he couldn't risk Russia taking Greenland because it's too close to the US, which does suggest that he has not in fact heard of Alaska)

Good idea. Since Trump doesn't know Iceland from Greenland, he's unlikely to notice, especially if a group of actors are paid to fawn over him and call him "Daddy". They can lower a Greenlandic flag and raise a US one, and Trump will go away happy.

I'm surprised he didn't mention Ilhan Omar, the Rep for Minnesota, he tends to hurl racist insults at her very very often. She is from Somalia. It's quite disgusting.

He did....

I think that poster needs to have clarified because people aren't getting the joke.

That was literally a line from his 'speech'. Said to a roomful of people in Switzerland, mind you.

I don’t understand how many people on this thread haven’t got that. It was a line in the speech that is the subject of the thread. Are people just commenting without having bothered to actually watch it?

And yet no one fucking calls him out for it. Disgrace.

I know! I was dumbfounded.

Trump is Putin's lapdog. Farage is Trump's lapdog.

I wonder whether those who listened to Farage and voted for Brexit now regret this?

Too many are still too stupid to get it! I've seen them on Nigel Farages Facebook posts supporting around, I don't think they get that Trump would love to turn the Great Britain they are so aggressive about protecting into an American territory!

I find it frightening that he said that he felt he owned Greenland previously because he defended them in WW2, does he think he owned every country that fought against the Nazis just beca America joined in to help!

Last night he rambled on for over an hour claiming Somalians fought in the streets and killed each other because they don’t have police, and that Somalia isn’t a country. Apparently all Somalians are good at is ‘pirating’.

he literally insulted an entire nation in one hit.

And yet no one fucking calls him out for it. Disgrace.

There are people - in power - who can make things go away. Just like they did with Jeffrey Epstein. Can't they do it now???

Where’s the CIA and why aren’t they doing their job?

FlyingCatGirl · 21/01/2026 21:43

Kendodd · 21/01/2026 20:37

Firstly, we should remember the American bloodshed on European soil. I don't think we should be flippant about it or seek to diminish it.

Now, for slagging of complete nutcase Trump.
How is his speech going down in America? I bet the MAGA lot love it.

I'm not being flippant but I won't pander to beliefs that the US are the saviours of all like Trump likes to claim, there was something like 4 odd years of bloodshed before they came along and helped in WW2.

WearyAuldWumman · 21/01/2026 21:05

An easy slip?

Are you merely gullible, or are you a member of Trump's staff?

I notice that FB is plastered with desperate looking posts from various branches of Trump's government, all claiming that he's a great leader. Things are beginning to look very Soviet.

He called Greenland 'Iceland' multiple times, not just once.

Yes my FB is full of posts by various branches of Trump's government, all claiming that he's a great leader. It's been very obvious in recent days.

MeTooOverHere · 21/01/2026 21:34

lifeonmars100 · 21/01/2026 16:20

I will say one thing for the UK, we would have got rid of a leader like this ages ago despite not having a written constitution. Meanwhile this dementia ridden mentally unwell man holds the most powerful office in the world. Truly terrifying

Australia the same. I can't believe how useless that much vaunted American Constitution and American political system really is. We have a written Constitution but we would never get to this stage because the parties will sort them out if they start going even a little ga-ga. And we the people have actual control (not like the Americans who claim it) because we give direct feedback to our elected reps who are NOT funded by vested interests. The few who do cling tightly to vested interests are widely viewed as highly suspicious and their parties tend to be kept on very short leashes.

*“The Ogre does what ogres can,
Deeds quite impossible for Man,
But one prize is beyond his reach:
The Ogre cannot master speech.

About a subjugated plain,
Among its desperate and slain,
The Ogre stalks with hands on hips,
While drivel gushes from his lips.”*

This from W.H. Auden came into my mind earlier while listening to Trump.

@Uricon2 this has sent chills in it's relativity. And here we are 57 years on...

@ I'm not personally responsible for the US or Trump. All I said was under all the crazy he does have some valid points and I believe the UK, Europe and Canada should invest in their forces and security. My dad was in the British Navy and served in Iraq twice so I was born in England and I'm well aware of the sacrifices and important role British forces have played alongside the US. You cannot deny in recent yrs the UK has not invested in their forces and the US has and expects others to do the same. I've never once mentioned Greenland.

I made it clear i was talking about the USA... not yourself.

Yes Europe hasn't spend enough on its own defence but thats changing, Germany is spending 100s of billions extra on defence, UK too has promised to double its defence spend to 5% of GDP.

We are also spending much more on Ukraine's defence too, rightly, far more than the US.

So i disagree Trump has any valid points left to make, all he is doing now is trashing European/USA relationships & that'll affect the US too as we'll gradually wean ourselves off your military hardware.

Was he supposed to go on that long?
Some of the things he was saying were clearly lies one he regularly peddles why is he not called out on it.
Other things were disgusting - the Joe biden Jibes, the you'd be speaking German if it wasn't for us 😯

Filthy narcissist

The Somali stuff was vile. He should be called out for that.

Nigel is funded (at a very deniable distance) by Putin. Putin has plenty of dirt on Trump. Nigel and his bosses would be very happy to see NATO fail and the UK align itself with an isolationist USA, because then Putin can get on with bothering Europe in peace. Dont ever fall for the nonsense that Reform is acting in the interests of the British people.

Thank you.

In other news, the Reform candidate for our council by-election has been caught out lying in his CV. Kudos to our local paper, The Courier.

Romano Valente claimed to have attended Cambridge University. When The Courier queried this, he deleted the claim from his FB profile and then claimed that it was a joke.

Much like his candidacy.

Absolutely 100% they do not regret voting for Brexit . Look how popular Reform is.
It's astonishing.

He did call Greenland - Iceland though - but it's an easy slip and he had had a long flight!

Am still incredibly confused by all his bluster. If he (as he has said on many occassions as well as today) thinks Xi & Putin are "good guys" who does he need this Golden Dome to protect America from?

Shithole countries?

Wintersgirl · 21/01/2026 21:03

I wouldn't be suprised if someone took a shot at him if the CIA don't get to him first, I don't wish death on anyone but this man is a lunatic....

Thebookofcarolagain · 21/01/2026 21:01

Democrats have started impeachment/ parts of the constitution to remove him in his absence. But it will take a bit of time which frankly the USA doesn't have.
He is gearing up for ICE (his own malitia) plus the military to control citizens to declare martial law to stop the midterms
The lunatics who are backing him/ controling the situation are doing all they can to fast forward it cos they are creaming money out the whole fiasco. Miller should be locked up telling Minisota police to submit to the ICE and federal agents! He's is even more deluded than Trumpet is, he has no power over anyone.

Thesuperlativesistillloveyou · 21/01/2026 20:56

Maybe America wouldn't have got their arses hoyed out of Vietnam if Donnie boy donned a uniform.
There was nothing for nothing regarding ww2 between the UK and America it was only a few years ago the loan was paid back.
