Feel a bit mean, but so excited for tomorrow

Dh back to work
Dc back to school

I am the type who normally feels sad holidays are over and kids are back and so on, but this holiday hasn’t been great and I cannot wait for 9 am tomorrow.
I intend to stop at the shop for treats and spend until pick up watching Netflix shows…blissfully alone! (aside from the dogs-who are no trouble)

People don't enjoy lows, that's what makes them lows. And yes of course they can enjoy highs.

I cant wait for tuesday when they're back at school. Having SEN kids as a single mum is damn hard. Back to routine for all of us.

My not yet diagnosed autistic three year old is destroying the house. He will get thrown through the door of the school nursery!

hence I voted yabu because without any further context (and no…. Of course she doesn’t owe any of us those details but she does want us to share her joy so…..) It’s just rubbing it in that I’ve got to work tomorrow and all week. Id much rather sit and watch tv eating crisps all day but as a lone adult I can’t!

<shrug>

Right well whilst everyone else has Saturday and Sunday off, I will be a bitterly, pathetic human and whinge over it because it’s of course, not fair that I have to work them

God some of you really need to work on finding some vague joy in life

School closed here too, I'm chuffed but hoping schools are open where op is so she gets her break.
