To wonder who on earth buys Easter eggs in January?

Tesco is full of them now! It's just nuts.

People always rushing to be ahead and organised. I’ll buy them about 3 or 4 days before Easter; the same as I do every year.
There is always stock left.

It drives me insane seeing them in the shops now. Can we not just have a breather to enjoy Christmas being over before the next chocolate shoving festival is rammed down our throats?

It’s not the next chocolate fest - we still have valentines to go.

My theory is so many supermarkets have sections dedicated to “holiday/events” they can’t just leave it empty so as soon as one’s done they put the next out to fill the space.

When I go to try and buy them just before Easter, they won’t have any in stock.

Serious answer - people who are visiting family for Christmas season and not 100% certain they’ll see them before Easter.

Also @HewasH2Ois right - some people are obsessed with being organised in advance and spreading the cost (who seem to think spreading the cost is more sensible than saving the money and buying in all one go).

A colleague of mine buys them really early to send to family abroad as it can take absolutely ages to ship them.

I buy them really early to gobble them down in secret however.

Easter eggs are the best chocolate! I'm always excited to buy them instead of any other chocolate treats for a few months.
