Didn’t take one of my plate, but this was the view from my place setting

I’m proud of my Yorkshire puddings. They were huge, light, and fluffy. And my gravy was brilliant too. I am tres modest, I know! ;)

These look amazing- I can almost sense tucking into them. You did Yorkshires proud!!

Plates absolutely overflowing with food you could eat any day of the week. I don't think any of it looks enticing at all.

Bit rude no?

Duck and some bits. Random broccoli which my kids put on the plate.

My image had been marked as “sensitive - users can choose to view it” - why? 😳🤯

I clearly like Brussels sprouts with pancetta 😅

Do you forget to cook the pigs? 😱

Muffinme · 25/12/2025 20:21

Turkey with all the trimmings. Cooked it upside down until half an hour before the end of the cooking time when I turned it over to brown the breast, I then let it stand out of the oven in its tray tented with foil. This way it’s never ever dry and always succulent

Forgive me for I have sinned.

Dinner will be at dinner time. Goose is ready to be cooked, rested, & carved by 20.00

We have ours ‘late’ too. Same time as any other day. I can’t do upside down meal schedules🤣

There’s pigs in blankets and parsnips buried somewhere under the veg.

Roast beef with all the trimmings. Slightly late, and the Yorkshire puddings were still cooking lol. Happy Christmas ⛄ 🎄🎁❤️

You can tell from the volume that's a proper home made Yorkshire - they'll be raw in the middle if they're pale in colour - best to cook until golden and all cooked inside.
If you think that's burnt you should see James Martin do his! 😀

Yes homemade and delicious! So much better than the store bought rubbish

Is that what they're meant to look like? It looks burnt to me.
