Three bed detached, quite small. No conservatory or double doors etc. Quote for one off clean of £150. Is this normal do you think? South west England

South West 4 bed detached £15 and didnt paid more for an initial
clean

GrumpyCowBag · 23/12/2025 15:57

I’m in South East and I pay £20 every 8 weeks. I appreciate a one off clean might be harder but wouldn’t expect to pay more than £40

TartanMammy · 23/12/2025 15:53

That's absolutely crazy, I pay £8.50 for a 3 bed semi. A one off clean would be slightly more.

Do you live in a greenhouse?

RampantIvy · 23/12/2025 15:51

£18 for a 4 bed detached with conservatory in Yorkshire.

TimeForATerf · 23/12/2025 15:49

I pay £16 for a four bed semi with a conservatory and several single storey velux, Yorkshire.

Who on earth pays that for windows, I’d get the hosepipe out.

£7 every 4 weeks for a 4 bed semi with patio doors in Yorkshire. So less than your one off for a whole year.
How much would they charge for a regular clean (you could cancel after a few)?

Whatareyoutalkingaboutnow · 23/12/2025 15:47

Woah. Similar sized house in SE. £20.

grinchmcgrinchface · 23/12/2025 15:47

£5 up north east for a 3 bed.

ItsFridayIminLoveJS · 23/12/2025 15:47

I pay a tenner per month. 3 bed house.. if you haven't had them cleaned for ages and want a deep one off clean.. my cleaner charges £30.
( West Yorkshire).

BeMellowAquaSquid · 23/12/2025 15:46

I pay £20 every month back and front south east for a 4 bed with patio doors what on earth are they cleaning?!

Catsandcwtches · 23/12/2025 15:46

I had quotes of around £120 in the SW last year. Which is why I now clean my own windows! It takes me 20 mins every few months

TeenToTwenties · 23/12/2025 15:46

iirc A one off clean is at least the same cost as 3 normal visits.
A bit like a deep clean is proportionately more than a maintenance one for inside the house.

professionalhomebody · 23/12/2025 15:46

I pay £12 a month for a three bed terraced with patio doors. In NW England.
