Urgh I think I was boastful at drinks last night

Didn’t mean to be necessarily, these women tend to make me feel a bit small etc. I think I was boastful on one or maybe two occasions!
Embarrassing! Hoping this is hangxiety and not as ‘bad’ as I remember.

I don't see how describing a hotel you went to in positive terms could be that devastating tbh. It's not personal enough for that.

Are you generally quite a humble/quiet person? I feel a bit like this when I've been more sociable after drinking. In reality, I'm very quiet so it just brings me up to the level of chattiness and sociability of everyone else but my God the hangxiety the next day!

I mean.. if you shouted “I earn 7k a year more than you! In your faces bitches!” or “my children are so much smarter and prettier than your glue eating fugly brats” then yeah, you might have a point to be embarrassed.

If you just talked about an achievement, or an experience which just happens to be rather fancy, that’s just conversation.
