To say fuck it & open the Christmas wine?

Fuck Christmas, fuck Mariah Cariah, fuck gift buying. I hate this charade every year. I've been dumped on a taxi driver for my teens, my ex is going away for NY and my partner hates Christmas even more than I do. Everyone is grabby and I've run out of cash. I hate feeling inadequate and unloved over it all. Gonna go and hide with the claret. Might open the special crisps, too. Fuck off Christmas. Anyone joining me?

I’ve had an arsehole of a week and still have to work this week. I opened the amarone earlier and plan to finish it tonight, it’s delicious and I deserve it. To be fair DH doesn’t even know we have it as it’s ME who did the shopping so I’m not sharing it.

I'm so sorry. My Mum died from cancer over Christmas when I was young, maybe this explains my fuck-you over Christmas. It was a good few decades ago before the treatments they have now. So I'm wishing you a speedy recovery and better health in 2026.
