To feel deflated after ChatGPT told me I was undesirable?

This morning I asked ChatGPT to give some recommendations for natural looking makeup products specifically for a person with autumnal colouring.

it gave me harsh colours (black, darkest burgundy) - not natural colours. Also non of the products were particularly long lasting which I also requested.

So what I’m trying to say is that ChatGPT does its own thing.

Also beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Yabu because it is a machine that thinks logically.

Assuming the population’s attractiveness follows a usual bell curve then only a few people will be 10 or 1 and almost everybody will be around a 5 or a 6 (ie average like most people!)

logically almost all of us who put a photo in if we ask for a number out of 10 would get a 5 or 6 from ChatGPT if it uses logic to answer the question. Humans answer illogically and probably never say lower than a 6.

ChatGPT spent a good while telling me that Taylor Swift’s latest album didn’t exist. At one point it told me it was an industry wide hoax. Every time I gave it a link as “proof” to try and correct it, it would concede, and then in its next statement tell me it was wrong and that it didn’t actually exist (again). I was only trying to get it to put together some trivia questions for my daughter’s dance club Christmas party 🫠

I saw a video recently with a guy asking for feedback on a photograph he’d taken. ChatGPT couldn’t ‘see’ it at first but, after he’d assured it the photograph was there, it dutifully provided some constructive tips and compliments (his composition was, apparently, excellent).
He hadn’t uploaded a photo.

It’s like dealing with a high-tech version of a psychic scam - all Barnum statements and no substance. Don’t let this bloody ridiculous tool affect your self-esteem; it can’t ‘see’ you, and it couldn’t make an assessment even if it could!

In the last couple of months I've had several responses from AI to simple factual questions which were not only completely false, but actually internally contradictory - i.e. first part of the answer says "X" and the exposition says "because not-X".
The thing you need to understand about Generative AI is that the it is not actually programmed to find "right" answers - it is programmed to create text that looks like a correct answer might look.
If you can't trust it on questions of fact, you absolutely cannot trust it on points of opinion, such as sexual attractiveness.

Poor you OP, do not listen to computers! Go and treat yourself to a makeover with your best friends, and go for a personal shopper to restyle you. And get a hair cut and ur nails done. there you go - totally desirable! A new you!

I asked mine to roast me on my most ridiculous questions from the last year. He did not hold back, it was hilarious.

Anyway, ChatGPT does not know if you are attractive, it is reacting to the question you have asked.
