To want to shout shut the fuck up to the woman ACROSS the pub from me?!

I’m treating myself to a drink in my favourite Christmassy pub. It’s been great so far but now a (I presume) family of six have come in. One of the women is being SO loud I can hear everything. I was enjoying the Christmas music, getting into the Christmas spirit etc . And now all I can hear is her braying on about who said what on Facebook. I don’t know how those closer to her are putting up with it.

I feel a bit sorry for myself that my little treat has been ruined

In fairness, pubs aren’t somewhere you can be guaranteed quietness.

I’m not asking for that though. I’m just saying she’s not moderating her behaviour one iota for the rest of us.

I’m willing to bet she is also fake laughing at the top of her voice - HA HA HA. It’s because she needs you to KNOW she’s the life and soul of any party.
