Aibu neighbours parcels

My neighbour keeps getting all their parcels delivered to me, not a problem I work from home so I am always around. Bit annoying when I am in the middle of something though and need to stop to answer the door!

The problem I have is that their parcels keep piling up, it can be weeks till they collect them.
Twice now when collecting them - they have told me that the delivery drivers aren’t telling them where the parcels are despite the drivers telling me they will pop through a card or text them!
I have had ten parcels here sitting here for a fortnight and they haven’t bothered to collect them.. today another parcel turns up so I tell them I can’t take any more parcels, I don’t have the room and they aren’t telling the neighbours were to collect!
for them to tell me they are telling them to bring them to mine through their ring door bell!!

I find this really bizarre that they are lying about not knowing where their parcels are, and then just letting them all mount up! Are they expecting me to take them round? Confused

aibu to not take anymore? i literally have no space in my hallway from all their parcels!

Tell them to come and get their parcels or they will be going in the bin as you don’t have the space for them and are a storage facility!!! You realise that they will be using you to store Xmas presents so they don’t have to hide them from the kids don’t you?

Id stop accepting them. They obviously think you will just store them until they need them. You're not unreasonable to not accept anymore. What bat crap crazy behaviour from your neighbours

I would put a sign on your door saying that you are busy working and are unable to take in any parcels for anyone else, and to only ring if the item is addressed to your property.

I work from home and I find that, because of that, people think it's ok to ask delivery people to leave parcels with me. It got to the point a few years ago where neighbours I don't even know or speak to were telling drivers to leave them at mine. One even tried to leave an oven with me!! I stopped it before it started- the only parcels I take are for my immediate neighbour who actually talks to me!

Yes, they know as they are the ones telling the delivery people through their doorbell to send them here & then lying saying they don’t know where they are. I have told them mutiple times before that their parcels will be at mine if they can’t find it yet they keep mounting up.
Not sure if I should be taking them round when there in, but it’s not my job too.

Then give them a time frame to pick it up or you'll leave it out for the passers-by/ send it all back.

And don't take any more.

if you want to, explain that your hospitality has been abused and you've had enough. Bye...

Do they know you have their stuff, are you expecting the delivery people to let them know or have you asked them yourself to collect it?

But regardless, if you don't want to, don't.

Tell them it’s not possible! They are using you and they need to nominate a safe space at their property. Put a notice on your door! Do not leave parcels addressed to X house here.

No, just refuse them.
