Why is there even a chance of any of these two remaining here in the UK? They had their chance and ended up doing what they did.

The rights of men, even foreign rapists, are always considered over the safety of women. As ever.

And the British men who do this? Do we welcome them back to society because "they have served their sentence?". Or do we deport them too? If so, to where? If not, why?

the problem is not what you think. It's not immigration, it's some men in general. It's some men, and some men only.

But how does anyone differentiate dangerous men from non dangerous men? Beats me

I don’t get this argument. I wish we could deport British men who do this but obviously it would be a terrible thing to inflict rapists on another country. In the same way I don’t want rapists from other countries coming to ours! Why is it so controversial not to want these men?
Just because we already have men who rape doesn’t mean we have to accept more! Especially from countries who are known for treating women terribly. I would happily welcome the women.

Kulwinder54 · 09/12/2025 06:29

They won't go anywhere, or will be back soon enough, as unfortunately the liberal elite of this country care more about being do gooders rather than ensuring the safety of women and girls

Maddy70 · 09/12/2025 06:24

It says in the article they are being deported .......

TheDogAteTheElf · 09/12/2025 06:20

I doubt they’re 17, they look in their 20s.

I would want them to serve their 10 years and then be deported. There is no punishment that can really see justice served for this poor girl and her family but time in prison and then getting rid of them is the best we can do. I have little faith it will be done though, but public pressure can help.

Swash89 · 09/12/2025 05:52

I hope they have brooms rammed up their bums in prison.

Yamamm · 09/12/2025 05:49

I work in this area. It is very hard to deport people with no documentation.
They may not even be from Afghanistan.
Probably lied about their names and ages as most do.
They need to be accepted at the end of their journey or they’ll be refused entry.
Not easy to get some countries to comply with taking back their own citizens.
Hence the fondness for giving people money to go home. So they comply with efforts to establish their identity. Best way to do that is to detain them but with hundreds arriving on small boards along with the larger group of people already here who switch to an asylum claim the detention space will never be enough.

Stop Gaslighting.

No one is falling for that anymore.

If anyone is gaslighting, it’s you

They are 17?!? Pull the other one! Who on earth has done an age assessment, what does it consist of exactly? Just asking them how old they are??

I suspect age assessments are carried out in compliance with the law governing this area - The Immigration (Age Assessments) Regulations 2024

PrincessofWells · 09/12/2025 00:33

GentleOlive · 08/12/2025 22:38

Don’t be so naive. Have the Rochdale rapists been deported?

No, they’re claiming every benefit going, using legal aid to stop being deported and laughing at mugs who advocate for them.

That might have something to do with them being British Citizens, but don't let the truth get in the way of your rhetoric . . .

“ The boys pleaded guilty to rape at an earlier hearing.
The court sentenced Jahanzeb, who has been served with deportation papers due to his age at the time of his guilty plea, to a youth detention term of 10 years and eight months.

Niazal was sentenced to nine years and 10 months. As he was 16 at the time of the guilty plea, the judge invited the government to recommend deportation.

The pair will start their sentences at a young offender institution and move to prison at a later date. They were also made to sign the sex offender register for life and given an indefinite restraining order.”

quote from Guardian article today.

Barbaramcnairyouregonnalovemybaby · 08/12/2025 23:33

There have been too many incidents including murder and perhaps detention centres and deportation would put many off of coming here.
But on the flip side the select few won't want it to end as in hotel contracts are making a few very wealthy.

Some are raised with legitimate concerns others have an agenda to use these situations as a vehicle for their own ends.

My question was something different. Do you believe there is a problem with migrant sex offending?

Dollymylove · 08/12/2025 23:17

IvyOrangesCandles · 08/12/2025 23:11

How were they allowed in ? What risk assessment was made when they are coming from a society with an extremely skewed version of women ?
What questions and assessments where made ?

None. They just get waved in and straight to a hotel, a bed, 3 meals a day, pocket money and allowed to roam freely among us.
No bloody wonder the rest of the world are laughing at us 😡

I think perhaps it's time we paid to set up prisons in other countries where they can be run on our behalf, because it's much cheaper to run them in those countries. Then all foreign nationals can serve out their sentences there, and automatically be deported when they are released.

Not only are these people are scourge on our society but it costs the taxpayer an arm and a leg to keep them locked up. I'd happily send them all to the sorts of prisons they could expect in the countries they came from.

Then there would be space in British prisons for British nationals and we could focus on making standards better.

Edited

The prison situation in the UK could be solved by deporting the 10,000 foreign inmates.
Plenty of room then for our own crims

Our prisons are maxed out, so I agree they shouldn’t be imprisoned here at our expense. And Labour seem to like the idea of letting them out willy nilly, so we’re never sure if they even serve any time. As soon as they’re convicted here, they should be deported immediately to the country they originate from.

Barbaramcnairyouregonnalovemybaby · 08/12/2025 22:54

GentleOlive · 08/12/2025 22:49

How naive. You have confidence in the home office? Ha.

Migrants jailed for sexual assault just walk out of prison. Those deported to France come back on the next boat. The ones in Rochdale have never been in deported despite abusing hundreds of girls. Those supposedly attempted to be deported just claim that their kids don’t like chicken nuggets or ice creams or whatever in their home country.

Your naivety is off the scale.

I don't know?
Have the Rochdale rapists been deported?

No. Rapists’ human rights are more important than rights of raped girls. Especially if said rapists happens to be an illegal migrant or migrant of any kind.
