DP putting his foot in it when meeting my friends for first time

Lurker25 · 01/12/2025 20:50

I moved away from my hometown a few years ago for work, so don’t get back often. However I met up with friends over the weekend and introduced them to my DP. He rather put his foot in it, but swears it was nerves and he meant nothing by it. To not be too graphic, he basically told one of my friends that his ex would ‘allow’ a specific sex act at Christmas and on his Birthday. I wasn’t part of said conversation, but my friend told me and he admitted it. My friend said it was barely relevant to their conversation. Would you give him the benefit of the doubt if he’s otherwise been a great partner? Or do you think it’s a sign?

OP: Would you give him the benefit of the doubt if he’s otherwise been a great partner? Or do you think it’s a sign?

Everyone: Steer clear! Huge red flags! He's a sleazy pervert! No normal person would bring up the subject of rimming with a complete stranger!

OP: I couldn’t care less.

Well at least she knows what a treat she’s got in store after her Christmas dinner…….

Oh no, instead she has doubled down on his amazing values and what a prince among men he is

So would most people. But not OP...

smithsgj · 07/12/2025 11:33

It does sound a bit ick. Where exactly did he put his foot?

SoMuchBadAdvice · 06/12/2025 20:39

Why would he say this?

My worry would be that he is hunting for a new g/f who shares his preferences, and so I have to add my vote to those who say "move on" - unless of course this is what you have been looking for.

I so wish MN had a ROFL Emoticon

Hi ,what ROFL mean ?

Megifer · 02/12/2025 19:07

Excellent use of the word "pile" op.

Your boyfriend told a total stranger he likes his bum hole tongued at Christmas. If thats not given you the ick nothing will, so crack on

I so wish MN had a ROFL Emoticon

Can you imagine what the ex-girlfriend endured, if he was stuffed with Christmas dinner, flopped on the couch and spread his legs expecting her to lick his anus? After a full day of eating and drinking? It doesn't bear thinking about! I bet he didn't even wash first!

Who on fucking earth would be lonely and desperate enough to service someone like that?

Oh no noooo now I have that disgusting image in my head.

Thank you very much (not!)

😂

I would actually break up with someone for that.

I am scared to even imagine what that thread involved

I can’t remember exactly but it was something to do with a DH telling OP’s friends that they do that together. It went on and on for ages about their sex lives, turns out it was all fake and got deleted

Tigerbalmshark · 04/12/2025 21:56

FlipFlopVibe · 03/12/2025 22:06

Discussing anal with strangers is weird, but discussing rimming is just vile, who does that?!

However this does sound like the deleted thread a while ago about a rusty trumpet…

@Imdunfer wouldn't be on my list of things I must try/do.

Unfortunately there are women who do not like what you have described, My oldest friend for example loves neck tattoos, shaved heads , facial scars, guys that look like they could start a fight with a dead animal 🫣. She hates guys with posh accents (her exact words) and guys who are too nicey nicey (again, her words).
I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not.

So many times when I am out and about I see beautiful young women who have obviously spent time and money on their appearence being largely ignored by the scruffy tracksuit wearing oik they are with . I know that its whats inside that counts but these girls have made such an effort and the boys they are with have not and are barely clean
Makes me sad

Franklyannoyed · 01/12/2025 20:53

wtf that’s so icky , who gets nervous so decides to come over all pervy.

Not the point of the thread, but this has really given me the giggles!

AquaForce · 03/12/2025 20:26

Of all the times to be in close proximity to someone's arsehole, shortly after eating Brussel sprouts would be near the bottom of my Best Time for Rimming scale.

"Near the bottom..."

I see what you did there, @AquaForce 👌

I had to l look it up and thanks to Ann Summers I am now fully educated on the subject, except for being as baffled as you as to why anyone would put their tongue into someone's rectum no matter how much they loved them. A million quid wouldn't do it for me!

It adds new meaning to the expression "eat shit", which is clearly how the OPs charming boyfriend views women.

Sad.

To me, that is a sign of a woman with abysmally low self-esteem.

Don't get me wrong, I can understand the appeal of bad boy / sleaze for a one night stand or a weekend. But to actually take such scum around friends and family, or to consider them worthy of an actual relationship? No. And OP's Butthole Boy doesn't even sound worth a sleazy shag. I'm sure he'd be a real prize in bed.

Does anyone but me remember when men aspired to be suave, gallant, worldly, sophisticated, considerate, couth, gentlemanly?

"Hi, nice to meet you, Evvie has told me so much about you. Thanks for joining us tonight! May I get you a drink?"

now it's "Oi, my ex used to suck my butthole for Christmas! Cheers!"

Who the actual FUCK is raising men to be like this, and why on earth are young women with two brain cells to rub together not only tolerating it but making excuses for it? In the not-too-distant past an oafish, unmannerly, misogynistic clod like this would have been bounced out of the room so fast his head would spin. Never to be welcomed again.

Apart from being an embarrassing, clumsy, pathetic perv, the problem here is why he thought your friend would be interested in that information.

So she mentions being full and he mentions rimming?

He’s a gross pervert.

The context appeared to be about my friend being so full to do anything over than want to nap by the time Christmas Day evening comes around. DP then made the comment about what he’d do at that time. Really odd I know
