Talk to me about Tattle Life

Ive heard people talking about it on here before but didn’t really know what it was other than a forum. I’ve recently stumbled across a thread on there about an ‘influencer’ I’ve followed for years who has become progressively more annoying and false. Some of the comments on this tattle thread are needlessly unkind but others echo exactly what I’ve been thinking about her. Albeit I’m not sure id ever put those thoughts out there where they could hurt someone.

So is Tattle basically just a space for being nasty about people? Please excuse the naivety but other than MN, instagram and Facebook I’m not really a big social media user.

A quick search on here tells me there was a big reveal recently of the owner of the site, as if he was in trouble or something. So is it a site that’s looked down on?

I rather like Tattle any enjoy reading some of the threads on there. The Mumsnet one is hysterical!

Are they the couple that had their first son when the mother was 14?

She was actually 13. Her now husband was 19. They started at 15 kids and counting but then came sponsorship, Disney holidays etc. it’s all gross - they have used their children in an appalling way. They are the adults but tattle posters seem to think the kids are fair game to criticise. I think this really oversteps.

Pepperedpickles · 26/11/2025 13:01

It is absolutely vile. Basically bullying. I follow a lot of travel vlog type people and Disney vloggers and they are relentlessly ripped to shreds on Tattle, including one who obviously has autism. It really is horrendous. I completely get that you can’t always be everyone’s cup of tea but for christs sake just scroll past if you don’t like something, that’s the beauty of you tube or whatever. You don’t need to start pages and pages of posts about someone - I genuinely don’t know how these people live with themselves.

hevs03 · 26/11/2025 12:57

I use/read Tattle most day's although I only click on certain threads, I have no issue with it and don't find it bitchy or horrible. Some of the threads are very supportive of other users, offering advice akin to here. I am aware that like with any social media platforms there are some very invested users who do go overboard with their views on Tattle, but overall, it is fine for me and it often makes me laugh out loud.

AppleDumplingWithCustard · 26/11/2025 12:13

The thread taking the piss out of Mumsnet is hilarious.

I had a snoop around the Radford stuff and came away feeling really grubby. I’m not a fan of the Radfords, but tattle posters being vile about the children was just awful.

The most recent episode of the Blocked and Reported podcast was about Tattle life. They also have a go at mumsnet, it's quite funny.

The guy that runs it is insane so whatever you do, don’t try to make an account on there!

I think you need to give a bit more information on that one.

SoftPlayForDogs · 25/11/2025 05:52

I don’t post on there but I do read one thread about a family vlogging channel that I think is spot on. The father is a creep and has contacted young fans inappropriately, the mother has so many issues, they’ve isolated their children, the kids are supposed to be being home educated but all they do is shop and pose for the camera, they film their kids when they’re ill, they lie about money and con people. It’s disturbing and abusive and I think the tattle lot call them out for what they are.

I don’t read anything else on there though but I’m aware that it’s not the kindest place. 😬 Based on the thread I read though, I think there is probably a lot of truth on their and people just don’t like it. That’s not to say some stuff is untrue or just posted by trolls etc.

NewGirlInTown · 25/11/2025 04:21

The Harry and Meghan thread is absolutely hilarious.

I don’t follow ‘influencers’ as it’s all smoke screen and mirrors with them a lot of the time. There’s one ‘influencer’ who lives near us. I’m going to name change after this post due to what I’m about to say. She made her ‘fame’ on TikTok initially posting videos of her packing packed lunches for her son who has SEN. The “you're jealous” rubbish is trotted out repeatedly and to be frank, the woman I’m talking about is vile. If you knew her in RL like many of us do everyone would avoid her. She’s told so many lies it’s laughable, Sitting on planes pretending she’s been left alone after falling asleep, using mourjano but proclaiming to having lost the weight through eating a healthy diet (after she posted a video of her fridge with a mourjano pen in it). Accusing her ex husband of domestic abuse…the list of this woman’s lies is laughable and her content is outrageous. The worst part is she continually posts about her sons disability with him having meltdowns when her views are low. I don’t care who the ‘influencer’ is but you don’t post your children’s most vulnerable moments on social media ans expect not to be judged by doing it. At one point she was suing Tattle (as well as many others). Let’s face it, only one couple has sued Tattle and it was yesterdays news and tomorrows fish and chip paper. It’s not a site I use but, come on, you only need to go on Reddit and it’s exactly the same.

MyChristmasCheerHasBuggeredOff · 25/11/2025 00:53

'A space for being nasty?'

Really OP???

Its a disgusting site and people who use it need to grow up

ledmeup · 25/11/2025 00:51

I think a lot of people still don’t understand aff links so when they find out how they work they can feel duped.

nam3c4ang3 · 25/11/2025 00:36

I stumbled about a Stacey Solomon thread on there and I must say it was pretty 🫣 - some of it seems to be from people who knew her. I don’t like or dislike her but recently there have been some articles about her and the almost hidden affiliate links she posts so …

ledmeup · 25/11/2025 00:30

@HeddaGarbled Ive not seen them, I use MNs & there a constant threads here about her. She can’t even breathe without attracting criticism.

gudetamathelazyegg · 25/11/2025 00:27

Saw people mention it here but then read this article and wouldn't touch the place with a barge pole. Horrendous stalking and abuse and not just of celebs or 'big' influencers. It sounds toxic

What I have read isnt any more offensive than the Meghan threads on this site

They are WAY more offensive about Meghan!!!

thestudio · 25/11/2025 00:07

Greggsit · 24/11/2025 23:30

People take it too far. Influencers have complained about members nastily live commenting on family members funerals! That's just sick.

Is it true though?

Many complaining influencers will distort or outright lie about what’s being said in their threads because they would love the site which holds them to account not to exist

ledmeup · 25/11/2025 00:07

ventyb · 25/11/2025 00:01

I love Brittany. I think a lot of it is jealousy.

Is she the one who lied about cancer? I mean that would attract some anger i’m sure.

FantaOranged · 25/11/2025 00:05

Instagram is Pride, it's Facebook that is envy.

ledmeup · 25/11/2025 00:04

i read it after the midwife trolling thing, only a few threads. What I have read isnt any more offensive than the Meghan threads on this site tbh.

thestudio · 25/11/2025 00:03

I think there are certainly some horrid threads - but it’s also the only place to read valid criticism of people like j monroe and dr J Taylor, and others who encourage donations or payments for content or activism from vulnerable/poor people who believe they’re someone that they’re not.

See also, beauty journos whose early reputations were for integrity but who now promote anyone who’ll cough up and/or make a big chunk of their income from affiliate links.

Most of the posters on these types of threads are former fans of the person in question; the scales have gradually fallen from their eyes, and they’ve googled to see if they’re the only one who thinks something’s fishy. This is because the influencer in question deletes any comments that has even the vaguest whiff of criticism on their instas.

I consider myself pretty objective about this stuff - I’m annoyed but not enraged by grifters for example - and I’d say that the loudest voices in the ‘ban Tattle’ chorus are those who have the most to lose from this kind of perfectly valid - in fact, crucial - critical oversight.

if you make a living from a para social relationship with the public and/or from ‘recommendations’ then your ethics, and the methods you use to build that trust in your audience/marke,are a perfectly valid topic of public discussion. Likewise if you claim expertise, it’s unreasonable to expect those who disagree not to say so.

The two I have in mind have either lied outright about what’s been written about them on the site or very carefully manipulated the truth - for example, saying that their childen have been attacked on the site when in fact they’ve only been mentioned in the context of the influencer being criticised for exploiting those children. Or saying that site users have revealed where they live when they’ve only repeated what the influencer has made public themselves. The worst accusations- that site users have encouraged sexual abuse for example - are just patently and demonstrably untrue, and the great thing about Tattle is that all this is documented in the Wikis.

One immediate side effects of all this is that the people who scream about Tattle outrages end up sending people across to see how bad it is - and those people quite quickly find the receipts for the grifting/manipulation/NPD/fraudulent CVs of the person in question, which is satisfying.

Definitely jealousy on some threads but not with her due to her cancer lies, false portrayals and sly ways.
