Nightdresses and nightshirts are awful though. Don't you get all tangled up? Maybe I kebab a lot, but I just can't wear anything in bed as it is too restrictive and gets tangled. So just nickers for me, and nothing else. Never had thrush in 60 years.

I haven't worn a nightdress since I was a child, for that exact reason - entanglement! Or ends up around my boobs! 🤣

Decently covered at night! 🤣 Who do you imagine will be seeing them during the night except a partner, possibly? It's not like the milkman leaves the bottles in the bedroom and might see a bare bum protruding from the covers, is it??

I'm going to get slaughtered here but I don't care. Wearing knickers to bed was always thought to be a very working class habit. Possibly born from freezing cold houses originally but continued over the years as the thing to do. Personally, I don't think it's healthy or necessary.

I never knew it was actual health "advice" and also something mothers would tell their daughters (mine never did!) learn something new everyday. Always knickers. Sometimes knickers and a top but no pj bottoms (in summer).
Surely it’s just personal preference. No need for all the talk about sweaty fannies and dirty gussets. Each to their own.

Am I repressed if I only wear knickers and no PJ bottoms? I didn't realise adults wore PJs in bed. Don't you get hot and sweaty wearing PJs? Doesn't the seam annoy you? Where is the source of this air under duvets and PJ bottoms?

Always knickers, never had thrush. In the event of a fire alarm or other emergency evacuation (fairly unlikely I know), I definitely want to have my knickers on!

I cannot imagine the discomfort of no underwear with pyjamas. Not only do I wear pants with pyjamas, I generally also wear a woolly jumper over said pyjamas and socks.
Unless I'm on holiday in Italy in July or something.
